Im sure you gain top end though removing 5k onwards is quicker even my friend commented at the time.
I think there should be a sticky for the AV im sure there must be enough documentation on it on here.
K-tecs exhaust will give you 7bhp if your old exhaust has got a potato stuck on the end
Panel filter + exhaust is say 5bhp tops (plus a bit more driveability) on a 182 not sure about the 172
Does anyone know if ESP stabilises the rear wheels aswell or is it just the drive wheels? Didnt seem to do much earlier when back end wetn out and didnt see it light up on the dash so im thinking probably not. Any input appreciated

I dont think you could tell a difference between cheap dot4 or the premium stuff. I havnt done a comparison myself but looking at specs i had a choice between comma and castrol and the extra cost didnt justify the tiny benefit. Although im sure others will disagree
5.1 only really worth it on...
For road use id personally stick to stock pads maybe greenstuff (whichever i could get hold of cheaper at the time) with braided lines and some fresh fluid. if your going track look into new discs too but like i said road use no point.
Something not right there but i suppose the most important bit about this is just so you can compare the before and after.
Just so you can proove remapping a NA not modded engine is a waste of time. But the diagnostics part of the kit is worth the money im still quite interested in it myself
If the lights flashing on the dash when the ignitions on it means the key isnt syncing with the immobiliser. Is the starter turning and not firing or is sweet fa happening?
Well if they have been bled and are still hitting the back maybe the master cylinder is on its way out. While ur your sorting all this i would have stuck some braided hoses on (best brake mod you can do in my opinion)
Take out the fuse for the alarm - there was a guide somewhere or disable the interior sensors. turn ignition on and off quickly twice and then lock should hear 3 or 4 beeps
Wouldnt of thought much, maybe ever so slightly better. The main benefit on the 182 is it stops the exhaust rusting as the cat produces alot of moisture and the exhaust isnt built very well. dont really know on a 1.4 sorry
Well obviously i wouldnt be as good as you but i have sprayed small things bumpers wheels etc with no problem i just maybe took a bit longer than a pro :rasp: practise makes perfect
