That's a weird one. Cambelt failure at some point? Head gasket, although it's unlikely? Renault is the only place I'd by head bolts, tbh. They shouldn't be too expensive.
Take of engine cover.
Loosen top bolt.
Loosen 4 big bolts.
Jack up engine (gently).
Swap over.
You might need to loosen the upper gearbox mount, as mine was off when I changed it over.
Reverse to fit.

It's only about £20, and is easy enough to fit.

You won't be getting engine oil leaking there as the bell housing is dry.
Mine's always got oil there, but never loses much.
Just check it when you do your engine oil, just to make sure, but I wouldn't worrry too much.
The costs involved with lorry tyres are so different.
A recut is about £25, where as a new tyre is about £150, give or take. Plus, the tyres have 12mm tread when new, and only about 6/7mm once recut.
Is it the same policy where he just cuts into PE2's, or are they completely 'remoulded'?
