Get stock or chnage the whole lot and spend a lot
IMO change the whole lot for new renault dampers £200 plus a few hours work makes a world of difference to even lowish milage cars often
Drop some coolent in there and see you never know there might have been enough otherwise costs involve ne cambelt etc
the 1.2cars do suffer from mayo in the oil but its not gaset failure just due to short trips more than anything
Personaly I'd have a normal 182 with cup packs over a trophy or a cup and a cup over a trophy
IMo the seats an't great and the ride isn't at all
value for money if you don't do many miles the trohy if you get a cheap one should hold its value better but depends howmich you pay vs a standard 182
15's IMO are always the better choice bigger realy is more for looks
but your 16's will have less grip with worn tyres plus in colder weather there chnace of slip etc with ice
Clutch rattle err i'd recomend trying other Clio 172/182's but bar replacments theres no adjustment as its all cable
I'd check the gearbox oil level as they do leak
Splitter ktec carbon firbe is a common popular choice but its not cheap and not my cup of tea each to there own...
Most likly the engine dogbone or gearbox mount is worn there only cheap to chnage and easy to fit diy best get under the car and have a look at the mount and do a search on here for a common problem with the engine mounts moving
