Your insurance is only valid if the alarm works pulling the fuse invalidates insurance so they might not pay out if its stolen or involved in any accident or just revalidate your insuracne anyway.
Fuses are in the passenger side of the car open the door and there on the side of the dash as such.
Could be a failed/wet UCH though.

Your always supposed to change the seat back for safty once an airbag has gone of no idea of a definite price £50 or so I'd recon judging by last time I had one.
Aux belt should always be chnaged never retightened back on any garage who don't chnage it without making you aware is very very poor.
If it fails can take out the cambelt and hence damage is worth more than the car to fix and a new engine the best bet.
You have to chnage the aux belt as you hould never reuse them and have to take it off to do it anyway. Water pump upto you if it does fail you got to chnage the belt anway (assuming you don't wreck the engine) so its either pay the extra £40 or so for it or else risk it.

Same price as a cambelt chnage could be the aux belt tensioner or maybe the garage who chnaged the cambelt/aux belt didn't fit all the parts to save time or didn't use a proper renault belt kit (stupid IMO).
Warently is cancelled so long as Renault can prove the modification is to blame for any of the warenty work.
It can be told the ECU has been remaped but Renault dealers woulnd't they'll just overwrite the maps.
YEp upgrade intake and exhaust to get the best with a custom map.
The box is strong enough owners just abuse them to much.
I think this is the problem owner most likly new if was gonna fail.
The box was designed for a 2.0 engine its a dervivate for the Williams box and it ok its just an evolution though from ages ago hence why its not CTR or VAG type box...
