315bhp on throttle bodies alone without any cam or head work would not be that easy or possible i wouldnt assume.....but not tried it so done know.
The conversion would consist of cams, headwork, TBs, sectioned off cockpit, exhaust blah blah blah....and it would be designed to retain as much...
Eh.....speed humps wont affect the use of a strut brace at all.
Strut braces remove multi directional flex, not movement as per se. It keeps each strut top the same place relative to themselves.
yup....jsut get the disc...then you slap it straight on....the only diff is the ABS ring on it, and that doesnt matter since you dont have an ABS pickup.
Its not something you need to worry about. Just use OE ones.
In the states you might want to worry as they tend to get substandard parts made all round the country.
Why the worry...especially about flow?
Take the caliper off the hub with the 2 bolts.
Take the disc off the hub by undoing the 2 torx bits, but make sure its the correct size (cant remember) or itll strip EASILY. Some plus gas the night before will help.
Take the disc off, replace, push the caliper piston back, put the caliper...
eh, what...huh?
serial re-programming via the OBDII port is normal practice, but its not realtime and cant be dont on the roller per se.
I was getting funny, your posts contradicted eachotehr at points and you brought up some erronous info....so i wanst sure what you were goin on about...
Not bad in teh wet, just dont go crazy.
Mine lasted a few thou miles, but i have done about 100 laps on them.
And at 40 quiid a pop fitted....no complaints!
If you even remotely near to cardiff i HIGHLY reccomend you go visit Charlie at Pro Speed.....hes simple awesome. He was brought over by powerflow to train the fanchises......subsequently they were crap and he started his own place...
Right.......
Just stick a mi16 in the 205, or fit one of my heads!
The std head has 41.6mm inlets......most big valve heads have 43mm inlets........ive got a whopping 45 mm in this one!
On a std head 43s are worth about 17-18bhp.......this head...even more. Especially with a slightly...
LMAO!!!
Im still confused as to what your going on about.
You cant remap via the OBDII port, at least not in realtime.
And if you were jsut fitting cams, then so long as you did it correctly there would be absolutely no problems whatsoever.
Ren-tec....or Renatec in bristol?
Indeed......sorting what i think is a mechanical fault or an incorrectly fitted item via the ECU!!! total wiz kid.
Wish you could explain it better to us.
Well, bristol....but my cars rust isnt related to that.....
But say brighton or hove....and the spray will f**k your car...you can taste the salt in the air.
