    pretty loud, i have a 2 box system anyway and its more than most people will want to live with. You need a centre silencer, althoug, having one large rear box alone generally gets rid of any boomy-ness.

    elf competition is good, in either 10w40 for winter or 15w50 for summer. Multitude of other oils you can use an continental oils such as Motul or elf, total etc etc. Its pretty hard to get a crap oil in todays market.

    Im assuming an air leak somwhere, the temp sensor shouldnt affect it as the ECU would compensate.

    LOL!! yea, originally designed as a WWII French/german home gaurd killer, it would lie unsuspectingly once dropped from german bombers. But it never really worked.

    Depends what it goes to. But it shouldnt just be left hanging, and any breather pipe that was connected to the airbox should be incorporated into the new filter.
