I may be missing something but why is it u own a 172 blaze if u r obviously so against exceeding speed limits or taking any tiny risks when driving at all. Surely a Micra would be more suitable if u feel this way? ;)
I know a couple of mates that drive faster than thier abilities can handle &...
If u mean u have a notchy accelerator pedal, then it is SO simple to fix if it is the same reason for mine being notchy anyway.
Underneath ur engine bay silver heat shield covering the bulk head is a bracket which covers ur pedal cables. This bracket had endented the rubber cable cover which...
3 of them have this prob! Ill ring some bodyshops then but im gutted about spending money on repairs as ill have to wait till pay day before i can order my coilovers now! :(
So it basically thins the oil with some sort of lubricant which helps the valves move more freely? Ill put it in when my oil comes down from the MAX mark a bit & report back.
Original phase 2s apprently need this done to stop tyre pressure slowly falling. Who actually can do this work?
Some garages have told me WHEELBASE, so rang them & they said they dont do it & didnt seem to know anything about it. Any1 know anything?
It wasnt due to the ABS! 1 of my rear off-side brake pads had snapped out!
Hence the grinding! Fixed now with jus new pads as the discs werent too bad but they ordered me new ones which didnt have the bearing in as the old ones did which is why they didnt fit them! Saved me a ton though. :o
I want something like that done when ive paid off my loan & got all the other mods like coilovers, alloys & brakes done. Long wait though plus its pricy from a tuning co. :(
A lot of 16v owners seem to do this! R u having any head work done at a later date?
Yeah im interested in taking it up as high as poss so i can lower it & not have to worry about speed bumps. So the centre box is what really concerns me plus a stiffer bracket so the tail pipe doesnt hit the bumper over humps in the road. Cheers.
Yeah, please do, much appreciated. Hope they r the kinda mounts where they will lift the Xorst as close to the mount as possible and keep it V. firm so it doesnt knock the bumper as mine does now. :(
Yeah, but dont kwik fit only use there own parts or something?
Thanx for the info. ;) Will probably order some. Do i only need 3 then?
Go check ur Xorst now & report back! Look if the centre box is up close to the heat shield! Only kiddin, ill PM u when im getting a garage to fit the...
An option on a 16v mate. To be honest i dont rate any ABS anyway as they are only better for a decent driver in wet conditions. In the dry & at lowish speeds they want to work but just dont help the matter IMO.
Did u re-hang it your self or by a garage? How much did the garage charge if u used 1? Is it up tight with the slots now? How many mounts did u get? Is ur 16v lowered? :D I love interigating people.
Im glad uve posted as i may be able to solve my fu*in Xorst now! Cheers.
