Serious dude? There's a car compatibility tool on the Parrot website!!
Yes, it will work with Clio III (like your 200) wheel controls, won't work with Clio II wheel controls.
Hi Simon,
Yeh fair enough, a new unit should see you straight...probably Darren too unless he's handy with a soldering iron :)
Fatty....that's my yellow bag and it's not on the engine...it's in the boot. I did the guide on my V6 :)
Probably this...my repair guide here....otherwise get a new one off eBay.

Hi Paul, that was me!!
Shame you weren't around 5 mins earlier as I was oggling your car in the field :)
I've got a Ph1 too, only second time I've seen a sunflower out and about!
Watch out if you have an aftermarket exhaust too. On mine, the centre silencer blocks access to the two inside passenger seat bolts, so I have to undo the post cat flange to get to them...FPITA.
Well Stu...read on.
So the 172 got through her MOT 2nd time around.
First time failed on handbrake effectiveness and window washer spray (i'm sure this was working when on way to garage). Anyway, handbrake cables replaced, new washer pump and full service and she's feeling good.
The other...
Guys,
Picking up a k-tec bolt in cage with the harness bar later this week.
Am looking into harnesses now and fancy a 6 point version as I am hoping to be doing quite a bit of track/sprint work etc.
Questions :
1. Is there plenty of space to fit backing plates etc for the 5th and 6th point...
OK OK Nick. You've spurred me into action :)
Well, let's start with the boring stuff.
Back in about May I drove the car up to Heathrow one miserable, very wet morning. Everything fine. Left the car overnight in the car park. Got back, fired her up, everything fine. Then.....got to the motorway...
Sounds like same problem I had recently. Changing the pre-cat Lambda sorted it for me. Worth plugging it into a decent diagnostics (RS Tuner for example) as this will likely point you in the right direction.
Check for a loose connection or a wire fallen out of the connector behind the central locking button.
I did a dash conversion in my older clio which involved messing around with this connector. One of my wires fell out and dropped onto the radio, creating a short circuit whenever it touched a...
The cruise control connects with proper connectors.
I'd remove the airbag (disconnect battery for 20mins first obviously) and check the wires for sign of damage to the insulation.
If you can't see anything, take the whole wheel off and the steering column cowls, as the damage may well have...
It's only a £5 to join v6clio.net, as someone said above it's worth it.
Guide includes everything, I recently updated it with the washer spec too which stops the wheel rubbing on the cowling of 172ph2/182s.
I had the older Parrot head-unit (RKi8400 or something) and that protruded out about 10mm.
Was a pain because you could hammer your knuckles into it when changing into 3rd.
Also looked crap.
You want to try a new pre-cat lambda mate. Post cat doesn't really do anything other than check emissions levels. Pre cat adjusts fuelling levels so is the one you ought to check.
