Kewl pics Daniel!
Where's Ari Vatanen's Rothmans Escort?
Still there?
Day, nice at shaft? Was it hot and wet?
Loving Ady's new sweatshirt. Scruffy bugger indeed!
;)
You could have sucked up water into the air filter and into the engine!
Pull out each of the spark plugs one by one, and turn over the engine each time. See if it pushes out any water.
The kit has everything needed, supplied fitted. Camber/Tracking reset, checked too by Mark too.
The bearings and mounts are designed for motorsport use, and have been tested extensively in race prepared clios and meganes.
They are the only top mounts that have been as far as I know...
Been reading into this lately, myself.
The 423's are a rally cam, and will need an additional ecu to run them.
The only profiles that work with standard ECU are 420 and 428 cat cams.
Aye, that's where the problem lay with your one, Tom. Two small a diameter!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
The one that H&S made for me is 2.5" or 63.5mm, from the cat back to the twin boxes. Combined with The Fishy treatment on the standard Cat, it is a cracking system. ;)
Good shots there Steve.
Sorry I couldn't make it down for the meet. I am currently clio-less, which is a very sore point at the minute.
Next time.
Steve
Car looks wicked cleaned. Much more fun getting it dirty again with those new top mounts. Car will be pin sharp on turn in.
Quality bit of engineering these MFM top mounts, no more sideways camber movement.
I hope your bringing some snow foam up to Mark's next weekend for my car.
;)
You should speak to some of the rally teams in France running the R3. Or Renaultsport there. It's putting out 230bhp. With cams, and a different exhaust manifold.
Let us know about what events you are planning on doing this season.
