Oh no, don't get me wrong - I've never wrap it a solid colour! It'd have to be a carefully thought out design - like an adapted livery of a ww2 fighter, but that would suit a long bonnet car better. Would need some serious thought to get right!
For a track car I'd probably get it wrapped rather than painted, just so if I got bored of it I could change it pretty easily and go for something a little different.
That surprises me to be honest! An old Audi A4 quattro I used last year was superb in the snow, seemed to go anywhere! It had cheap no-brand tyres with plenty of tread.
Apologies if this has been said previously, but I've seen enough snow threads here to last me a lifetime. Compared to a 4x4 impreza a clio 1*2 will be poor.
I've driven plenty of cars in snow and ice, fwd, rwd and 4x4 and the 182 is by far the worst of the lot. A relatively light car, with...
I've heard of it the other way too though. My mrs was getting fuel and was accused of putting a dent in another car when she opened the door. She got a load of mouth off some gobby cow and the fella with her. She was a little taken aback, but the funny thing was that as neither car had moved she...
I went mental at a woman who hit my car when she opened her car door on it at an Asda carpark (I'd had a bad day). In the end she started crying after a torrent of abuse, I felt quite bad after that. Not bad enough to apologise, but bad all the same.

I've seen it posted a few times on here that Renaultsport Clios sell for very strong money in the Netherlands, and now I've just seen that even interiors are worth a good sum of money!
So why is it? Is the general car market out there much stonger and prices of all cars are generally higher? Or...
Good work! I gave up with mine ages ago! It didn't take me long to realise that I was s**t with fibreglass! My plan was to remove the indicator though and put an indicator in the headlight washer blank, hopefully making it road legal.
Have you actually checked the aerial on the roof is secure? No one has tried to unscrew it to pinch and got interrupted? Aren't there two ways of searching on the head unit too, just the normal scan and RDS scan? Tried both?
There shouldn't be any need to glue the aerial connection to the head...
I had a 115hp mk2 Cavalier that looked just like that as my first car! Same colour in and out - those pics bring back so many memories! Always preferred the saloons in the looks department though.
Thanks for posting it!
Still got the mac, but she says it's only got a couple of gb of memory on it and that all the data she has on the external drive won't fit on to it - can that be right? I don't know much about macs unless the word 'big' precedes it unfortunately.
Got a bit of a problem and wondering if anything can be done - my other half has always had a mac and has built up a rather large collection of itunes, pictures, etc. on an external hard drive. Some of the itunes stuff is also on the mac's internal hard drive.
I know a fair few of you will...
I've got an Orbisoud on mine and have been very happy with it, the fit was spot on (fitted by Mark Fish and he told me it was one of the easiest he's ever done), but I know Fred @ BTM has had different experiences and was no where near as happy.
I couldn't tell you how much it weighs, but I've...
I don't know anyone who does it regularly, so one of you guys can do it. Send one out from the Gadget Show informing them they have won the prize. They'll be bouncing all over the walls thinking they've won that lot.
Off to Milton Keynes with a few lads, one was complaining about the fact we didn't book breakfast when we booked the room. He now has a complimentary breakfast text from Premier Inn. Looking forward to seeing him use it later.
Best one I think I've sent was to a vicar (mate's dad) from God...
I've seen there are a couple companies around who will turn the airbag and serv lights off via the ecu for around £45. The ring sensor behind the steering wheel is actually new, but I'm thinking the 'specialist' who installed it didn't calibrate it either at all or properly. They did have clip...
So if I decided to break the 182 up, how much do you think I'd get? Would it be worth the effort?

I think the knock sensor is pretty cheap - when mine was in for some other work the garage changed it free of charge as it came up on their diagnostics. I also had a slight misfire before it was changed and it went away after.
