That's why I am hesitant to try, 476 is pretty tough to remove! Maybe just try on a small area at the bottom of the mirror cap if you know what I mean (so you can't see it anyway unless you look underneath)?
Me! In September, company car courtesy of my new job at le Renault UK! They were making out like it was a selling point of the job, I was thinking "would it be cheeky to ask for the money instead?" It is the 1.2 Dynamique and asked for it in black so not all bad...good MPG, but the inside looks...
Cool will give them a try although got home insurance with them so might still be best...that will be the one plus of getting the Twingo, cheaper insurance. TBH I would rather spend the extra cash though on the 172...
I use 476 on window surrounds and wipers and works well. Also use on windows and is great - beads well and you can just wipe with a mf cloth and some QD and look as glossy as the paint.
Might try some on the mirror surrounds later if I am feeling brave but not so sure it will work on that type...
Is it cheaper than Direct Line even? They seem to be the cheapest for me...
Yeah pretty good for "free" anyway, although I found I only use the normal lance the Karchers come with. Definitely not the brush type one anyway...
For wax on a silver car I like Collinites 476 simply as it is high gloss, might mute the flake a little on other colours but on silver thats not an issue. Others like P21s but to be honest most waxes I have tried on silver don't really make that much difference like you would get on say dark...
I've got some but not even used it as got Wheel Brightener, forgot I even bought it, found it in my treasure box a few weeks back!
Meant to be good though anyways, hence me buying it!
Cool looks good anyway mate. I just use Collinites on my dad's silver car, great finish and lasts ages. Will top off with Onyx though like I do on my own.
Unless you are buying second hand and can find a cheap one you should get the Megs 220 machine, basically the same if not a little better, and no need for an expensive and cumbersome transformer.
Best places to get them from, if they have them in stock, is either i4detailing, Clean Your Car or...
Nice looks good, which one out of interest?
Going to give my old man's Boxster S a good going over once I get home, he is having a hip op and can't drive for 6 weeks so want it perfect once he has recovered :D
Ah they are good shiser, use one to mop up the worst, then the next with some QD to get the rest, can dry the whole car in 7-8 minutes perfectly and then just use the waffle weave towel for the wheels.
Although with your filter even quicker I guess!!!
That is a little bit silly to say, it is designed to displace water and does actually work well.
I have tried it on my car, and if you think I don't give a s**t about my car then you are SERIOUSLY wrong my friend...honestly it does work quite wel;.
My garage contains far too much...hard to get bikes in and out now. The transformer for the PC takes up far too much room too, it is like Aladin's Cave, only without the treasure or anything of interest...
