Haha.. almost raw x11.... been there.. fast sure.. but i reckon I wasnt as productive with desktop/office type things with that ;) Cant remember if it was raw X11 or this but I couldnt even figure out how to move a window lol

He's being specific ;) I find both Gnome and KDE to be HIGHLY configurable if you have specific ways you would like the GUI to behave.. you can change anything you want.. My personal preferecne is Gnome, but I used to love KDE and have recently moved back to it..

Thats what mine is used for.. fitted with a 320GIG drive and works perfectly.. just a pity it doesnt do Hi-def... im waiting for the 360 to be opened up properly or im considering selling and getting a PS3 ..

Itunes is bloated s**t.. The sound quality isnt perfect but can be improved 10 fold by chucking the crappy standard headphones and getting a decent set. I find the buttons/interface to be almost perfect.. I can find any track or song even though I have hundreds easily.

You shouldnt have to but you will get the config file faster if you do manually reboot as it forces the cable modem to redownload the config file instead of waiting a pre-determined length of time

Even get this problem in linux sometimes.. pain aint it ;) Its just your filesystem protecting itself though. Cant be helped.

I have to give vista some slack here.. some of the linux distro's can be speeded up massivly with a little tweaking.. I personally like to re-compile the kernel removing everything from it that I dont need.. (on top of the obvious things like stopping services that arent required).

If you call using your full (paid for) connection speed for 27 minutes over a period of 8 hours a piss take... All im saying is I dont need more than 10mbit although the increased upload speed will be nice.. although they also cut that down if you go over 3GB !
