Main problem from the photo is the amount of bends in the cold air feed.
Quick solution would be to buy a silicone inlet elbow, cut it so that the CDA sits further back away from your rad and slam panel. This will then instantly take out one of your bends and mean the air is being directed in...
Shouldnt this Lee lad the owner of the car be going ape sh1t at all this bogus photo lark???
Seems to be replying in a calm forum manner. Bit bizzare imo concidering :S
Yeah could be that one minute after his post last night the car was found and the police had a meeting with the thiefs who kindly handed the keys back. There now all friends and have gone down the gym together. No parking at the leasure so the manager said ''go on as long as your quick'' hence...
Aye depending on which 'tuning team' you support :o
Never had a prob with my Renault dealers where parts are concerned and over 6 years iv practically bought a new car worth of parts
Can never understand why folk on here ask for part numbers. I mean, youve still got to go into the dealers anyway and it can all be done just as quick with a quote of the reg plate plus theres always a risk someone quotes the wrong part number, as above  :)
'Proper' air feed piping rots and splits with time. The wire springs rust and cut through the material. Its pretty crap stuff tbh
Best bet would be some flexi ducting from Homebase. Iv been running one for a number of years without any problems and can highly recommend it. Only a tenner too...
Lighter wheels make a BIG difference to the acceleration like. Im changing back to stock for this very reason after doing a bit of experimenting on that front.
Any more plans for the engine side?
Fantastic result fella. Keep up the good work bashing the Jap crap  :star: ;)
Calm down, its not that wild a figure. 172's as a example run between 130 - 140 at the wheels.
Its all a weight thing
Were you running with one seat, fully stripped aye??
But how much of that can you single out to be a contributing factory to the enlarged Jenvy body?? Your quoting the car as a complete package their with all its many other mods as a whole.
Thought GDi only fitted the Jenvy due to the Omex and the quicker delivery of the cable operation not for...
Other way round im sure (4-1 = better low down torque, 4-2-1 = more top end power) ?
Either way its not / dosent to make much difference on stock 182's vs 172's
Due to keeping the car on the road at the time, i bought a ph2 head (same as a 182?) and had that polished and ported and bolted...
Lower inlet can be a pain to remove if you dont know where the bolts are and its your first time doing it.
Alternator dosent need to be touched but you will have to take the upper engine mount off so you can jack up the engine to gain access to the bolt near the pulleys.
How come you taking...
Whats your connection with Clio's or Renault mate??
I have to ask as i find it strange your posting on a Clio forum of all forums and not a Mitsi Evo or Jap car ones :S
Usually Jap car owners wouldnt have a p1ss against anything French
You could always go Sports cat? Little bit cheaper.

Not sure about the fitments tbh. I fitted a phs2 decat years back to a ph1 and it mated up fine but not sure about the standard ph1 /2 cat fitments
If its knackerd then theres a pretty good chance its zapping your mpg and performance.
Iv sold a few cats to scrapys for about 50 quid mark. Seen a few on ebay go from 50 - 100
New wont be far off 400
Reason why the cable takes a strange route is due to the fact its in effect a left hand drive car converted to a right hand drive market.
TB shouldnt be a problem unless you notice it reving up or the revs staying high. Would need to be very gunked up to hold up the revs and r****d the spring...
Silenced is 'straight through' too. You can still a roll a ball from one end to the other without it getting stuck :)
Only difference is if you were to look through the pipe of a silenced the internal walls are made out of perforated holes, where as the non silenced is just piping.
Get silenced.
No difference to performance what so ever over a unsilenced one country to what a few think and if its matched to a decent exhaust with a 2.5 inch straight through bore and out that will be plenty loud enough for everyday use
