the cylinder one is for the phase 1 172's if i remember right, the phase 2's have flat panel filter which is kind of a triangle shape and looks like in the link below

those who suggest the chain type remover, have you ever actually used one on a valver?.......because there wasnt a chance in hell i was getting mine off with one of those, or the strap kind, ive got both

all of the genuine H&R ones will be pricey, i know the cost price on them as we can get them at work, they are not making much money on em at all
if your paying less than £30 they wont be H&R's, they will be cheap copies
one of the main reasons would be that the plates are not reflective, so they wouldnt show up a good picture on the govt/police cash machine, sorry, safety camera

the thing with the Apollo is the heat shield isnt carbon fibre so doesnt reflect heat as well, but its Viper / CDA price
Pipercross now do a cheaper Viper with a none carbon heat shield and its about £150 i think, probably even cheaper online
