xenons are standard equipment the only real option was sat nav

Switch them on, if the go yellow then change to white they are xenons.. get out the car and have a look, the side lights will look very yellow compared to the xenons..

The veering of the steering over bumps is due to tramlining.. you get it when you put big wheels on small cars. I managed to get rid of most of the tramlining on my 172 by swapping the tyres for Uniroyal Rainsports.

According to an e-mail I got sent they are Apex springs.

There are a lot better tyres out there than contis.. most people change them at the first oppertunity.. like me..

I will measure from the top of the alloy to the arch and see what I get too.. didnt do a before, but I will see if it is simmilar to yours. Ye the contis do suck.. especially when they are low on tread (okay most tyres probably suck when the are low on tread but the contis especially suck)...

Hey mate, got my Eibachs fitted (finally) on Saturday, took me and my mate 6.5 hours LOL !! but 2.5 hours of that was doing the first front one, the bolts were jammed solid took ages to knock them out without damaging them. Anyway, really happy with the way it handles now, and the sublte drop...

I think I can beat you all. £9000 for a 2002 mk2 172 with 5600 miles on the clock.. car was less than 1 year old when I got it..

There probably was an easier point at the fuse box.. but I was running a whole load of cables to the boot for the xbox anyway.

The 182 to the best of my knowledge doesnt have heated seats, you would probably be able to retro fit some from another make of car though.

Nope most 172s are driver side only.. like mine..
