whats the top end of them, my bird used to have a mini cooper, only 115bhp @ a 1.6 but that was quick, and i got it upto 135mph racing a golf gti, on my private run way.

Just been looking through the parkers guid whilst pressing one out, with the hp and top end stats if pisses over most cars, golf gti, scooby, some mercs, range rovers, all mgs, 99% of cars, arethey really this fast?

i do agree to some extent fella, i have just always wanted to put my mark on a car, loads of people have normal 172/willy's but i was after somthing descreet, like a sleeper, will leave totally standard apart from engine so it would be a one-off, its just my toy really.

have been advised to go for a clio williams engin rather then a 172. what do you guys reckon, have been quoted £1k for the willy and all the bits or £1.5k from matt black for all the 172 bits from him, also any1 from kent know were i can get the engine fitted? :S

take the air box off, surley that will get s**t in the engine and clog it up,
