Have to agree with this.
The 172 really doesn't strike me as go-kart like, it's far too roly poly and hefty for that.
Saxo VTS on some decent suspension perhaps...
Re: s**t weather. s**t pics. Great car.
I feel exactly the same as you about my old girl.
Every wheel is kerbed, the interior is showing all 106k of it's mileage and theres a few dinks and bits of flaking paint on the outside.
However, it's fast, it drives tight, stops well, handles well...
Hi all,
I know there's loads of you with iPhones on here that know them inside out. If you would be so kind as to educate me here it would be greatly appreciated.
I currently have an iPhone 3GS but have just taken delivery of a new 4S.
Is it possible to transfer from back-up, or otherwise...
Just for future ref, 3 litres is all you need for these!! Think the official sump capacity is like 3.2L.
So if you buy a 5l can and a 1l can that will do you for 2 oil changes. One thing I definetely do miss!
Any questions on stuff like this drop me a PM.
Re: Clio Sport No.7
Lol don't be pedantic. Say Clio sport to someone and 9 times out of 10 they'll know you're on about the 2.0
Really, what are the chances of some going, "oh, you mean the 1.2 edition sport?" lol.
No probs boss, only suggested the apex as it's a cheap but suprisinly effective solution! Half the price of a set of bilstein dampers alone.
Best thing about these is you don't have to spend a fortune to make them a seriously competent car.
Great car, I used to have a 106 GTI myself and had the same issues with the bodykit coming loose. I'd be tempted to buy a full set of new clips, whip it all off and refit it lol.
First thing I'd be doing with that though is getting it on some decent suspension and having the rear raised a bit...
Re: Clio Sport No.7
Who gives a f**k, they're generally known as Clio Sports, only CS geeks care about the 'Renaultsport Clio' monicker. Id be embarassed to call mine that in person to someone!
Get a grip, it's a tiny mud splatter from a football?
Fair enough if they were booting at your car with intent you'd have right to moan but I doubt that was the case.
Same as Edd I used to have a bit of a Vauxhall fetish back in the day. I'd take a MK2 Astra GTE 16v!
As for the Omega's, My old man had an Omega 2.2 CDTI, got given it when he joined a new company on 22k and handed it back on 122k 2 years later without a single thing go wrong!
