Stud pattern/diameter might be OK, but the offset on Vauhalls is really different from most Renaults.

Matt - I saw that programme too. He didnt get off; they gave him a speeding ticket. The motorcyclist was on at the end of the programme and said he went to Court and got a ban. It looked as if he got off becuase they said "be on your way son" at the end.

That is probably a more than average power gain for those mods (if no de-cat)! Cars like the 16v/Williams/172 do not respond well to simple mods. I remember when I used to work at Halfords and read Revs/Max Poo - I was convinced that a K&N and Big Bore 2 would make a bazillion extra bhp!!:p...

Yoko A539s in 195/50/15 cost me £160 fitted. Thats £40 a corner - not bad, but you can get them for nearer £30 a corner (fitted). Very good price for a fairly repsected tyre - its becuase 195/50/15 is a very common tyre size in the aftermarket wheel sector. So I ditched the 185/50/15s.

Good work. I keep saying this: the new 1.2s are so much better than the Mk1 1.2s (I had one from 1995 to 2001!). Look very tasty in Dynamique trim - especially in black. And theres a funny story about them being called a "16v" by some people as well... I was sat at some lights a few...

Everyone who I speak to who is "in the know" about engines says that the ones that are thrashed from day one perform the best. I used to think it was a myth too, but my trusted mechanic says he sees loads of 16vs - and the ones that have never been thrashed are slower. You dont have to...

I think one of my rear discs is warped:( I get that all the time and also can hear a chaffing sound when Im at slow speeds and open the passenger window.
