Now i know how to change my basic info to select my country, but it simply will not let me select United Kingdom as an option. It seems to fail to recognise it completely so I'm currently residing in Ireland! lol! I've tried Tom etc etc but no one is of any use! :mad: Can anyone please...

There is 2 brackets, as you've shown in your original pictures. As i understand it, when you buy the changer brand new it comes with the side brackets so you can fit them if required. If you were fitting the changer onto the bracket (B) then my guess is it's for a different car, possibly Megane...

I mean it's a DIY effort, not professional. I'm happy with it, but a perfectionist may find the odd 'niggle' :)

There is a standard fit Al, the picture on Dialogys shows the brackets you need, they're just not listerd separately. :(

Dynamiques have them as standard don't they? If you've got auto headlights it's part of the same option pack iirc.

Update list is needed for 2005 on cars. Tuner list will probably fit and work but the head up display and steering controls definitely will not.

What will this achieve mate? Why are you looking for a different part number? The two you have listed previously have been proved correct for you car? There's a few yeah, sure they'll be along to help soon :) that's good to hear, least Renault didn't change everything! :)

I'm struggling really, it doesn't go into much detail for the cruise as the dialogys only goes as far as 172's. The entire loom for the dash etc isn't priced either, just a part number.

Well ,as you said above they're shown on dialogys as part of the changer part number at £170 odd plus VAT. :( They aren't a separate part so I think you'll struggle mate unless you buy a faulty changer cheap with them still attached.

You want everything that makes up the drivers & passenger airbag system? Or the parts that run to the steering wheel? A little more info needed please :)

Hi mate So the problem is now that you need the side 'brackets' that attach the changer to your bracket? Am I understanding that correctly?

Just a thought...have you tried the 'wrong' bracket under the drivers seat? I know the changer is designed to replace the tray under the passenger seat but still, you never know! :)

Ok, well dialogys doesn't extend to the 182's as it's a 2003 version so as your changer is showing up on that I think it's from an earlier model unfortunately. First step for me would be trying it tomorrow mate, just to make sure :)

No worries :) Do you have a part number for the bracket and changer? I've got them up on dialogys now.

Your HU will say Update list on it, your friends will say Tuner list on it. AFAIK the changer may not work with your HU due to a different lead been required, but please don't quote me on that. I'd try it tomorrow before I persue the brackets any further.

Go stand near the car, press and hold the unlock button on the key for a few seconds. Then try unlocking/locking it again. This should 're-align' the key to the remote receiver in the car.

Right, in 2005 Renault changed the audio system, meaning that pre 2005 equipment will not work in 2005+ models. Now I suspect that the changer is the wrong one for your bracket, which incidentally is the correct one for your car. Hence the other bracket fitting the changer but not your car. Does...

have you got a pic of the underside of the changer? *edit* Maybe you have the newer bracket (for your car) with an older style changer. I think they changed in 2005 mate! Have you bought them separately?

Headlamp washers and auto levelling by rights. To be 100% legal you couldn't actually fit a kit anyway as the amended MOT notes now state that the headlight has to have been specifically designed for the HID's. If they pulled you for it you may get a fine but will have to change them back...
