Anyone know what wire colour the radio mute cable is on the standard wiring loom. If it even has one???
Been trying to fit a hands free car kit.
Cheers
Mine also had the cabin air filter changed. (without asking me!!, my mum gets asked when her laguna goes in.)
As said above it just seems to be a look around and oil change.
Just scratched mine aswell. had a slight coming together with the nieghbours towbar. :0(
Got 2 scuffs about 1" max just above the passengerside fog light.
the joys of motoring.
Mine is at renault now getting the dents sorted out. Passenger side rear wheel arch got dented whilst they were repairing the faulty head light washer!?!
Supprised at the dealer doing the work for free, as I only spotted the damage after a 20 mile drive home.
Get the car home wednesday, wots...
you have a fair point, but as I said before. The fact it had grease marks all around it, makes it more likely to be the mechanic. Fair enough accidents happen just wish they told me.
dont know about the bottles, prob just cheap old plastic.
as for the washer balls. Im a shift worker so lights are on most of the time, so washer balls do get used a lot. thinking of pulling the fuse to them to be honest.
My boss has got a pug coupe and hes having the same problem...
I dont expect my car to be given back with damage to the rear end when it went in for only a bloody washer ball!!
If only they had the balls to own up, as the service manager has said the mechanics dont pay for damage. So why not say anything and leave grease marks all over it?!?
As for...
The manager has sorted it out quickly - 30 minutes and its booked in for repair work and courtesy car. Letter will be going off to Renault UK though as I want compensating for this.
Will hold fire on naming and shaming but theres only 1 renault dealer in Kings Lynn, Norfolk. ;)
Also asked...
My 172 went in today for its 4th headlight washer ball. I was told they would need it for 2 1/2hrs. Apparently they were going to change the complete unit this time. As this is under warrenty thought it was very nice of them.
The car was ready in 2hrs and I had a little look around the front...
All the best for him and the rest of the family.
As said before people just dont take the advice and slow down until it happens to THEM!!
Speaking from personal experience, Ive slowed down after being on the recieving end of someone elses reckless driving. Im still recoving from my injuries...
when you loose your balls (so to speak) you just get a vertical spray. Great fun if its the passenger side, then you can squirt pedestrians.
Cheers for the link. may come in handy once the warrenty runs out.
Ive had 3 washer bottles now as well.
Think I might get them to pop a bit of glue on the new one. 4 since last july is a bit of a joke.
this one decided to part company after 4 months so not too bad lol
Im running fairly strong washer fluid at the moment. Problem I think is Im a shift worker so Im either driving in the early hours or late evening, so lights are on most times.
I think theyve just been poping the balls in. otherwise I think its a bumper off job to do the complete stalk.
Swan Street Renault in kings Lynn Norfolk had 1 last month in the showroom. Looked ok to be honest.

Mine normally sits at 38-40mpg
worst Ive got on a tank was 35mpg. Doing 50 miles a day, sitting between 60 and 80mph.
think you may have problems either that or youve got lead lined shoes!! lol
