So ive continued to tinker with the car this weekend. I haven;t got a multimeter yet. Went to start the car after reconnecting the battery and it wouldn't even turn over. Odd I thought as battery was fully charged before putting back on the car and had only been used to start the car and...
So far I've split the loom to look for any visible breaks.

They had the car for a week. Reckon they couldn't replicate the fault. Surely they didn't just start it every now and then?

Like I said Renault had it for week. They couldn't find a fault and reckoned there ess nothing a matter with the car. I'll check the earth on the gear box before I go forking out on a new uch/ecu. Problem is other than it having sat for nearly month and all these funny electrical problems. Since...

I've recently bought a set of team dynamics jet 15x6.5j believe they are et38 but can't see a stamp on them. They came with spiggots but the spigggots...

Brilliant piece of kit, just go for crazy prices. Never driven one so this is just an in educated guess. I reckon you have to be able to get something just as a capable but at half the price.
If buying you should have kept it and stored it

St170 is slow although I do like the look of them. Any audi/vw will either be a dog or have Stella mileage on them at that budget. Having said that engines are bullet proof.
I would probably look at the Clio or the vag if it was my money.
All positive. I had a tdi bora that when driven hard would empty the expansion bottle. Head gasket unfortunately. F4r don't tend to sort from this but was my concern. You must have a leak somewhere. I don't think it's the water pump that's knackered (although could be leaking from there) as its...
