I have this issue currently usually on start up. Mine also has the serv light on.
If I drive the car then pull over switch it off and wait 10 seconds and start again it clear but then comes back whilst driving it does not seen to be linked to me pushing the brake pedal.
I 've checked my brake...
As already mentioned stay away from the diesels unless you do the mileage. The corrosion protection on these are crap now pre 04 cars will last forever where as later cars are beginning to rust from the 5yr mark do expect rusting arches in about 2 years
Not a problem mate I looked at these originally as I believe there wet grip is rated higher than the toyos but all the reviews on here seem to say not to bother. I guess u don't know till u try.
Cheers mate. Time to get some paint stripper and start again. I'll leave it overnight and see if it cures a bit more. The inlet manifold cured within 5hrs like that so I'm not hopeful as the guard has already had that time but hey ho
I did my inlet manifold yesterday and it came out perfect like this
So to day I cracked on and did my fuel rail guard unfortunately it's come out all glossy and no where near as finally wrinkled as the manifold.
What's gone wrong? Not enough paint? I used the same tin for both do it can't...
As long as they last 6 month so I can get the alloys on and then swap them for something better down the line. They won't be used for track days just a bit of b road frolicking and traffic light drag racing
Hankooks coming in at 244 that would mean the Mrs can't have a pair of shoes for yourself this month lol. So there a no go unfortunately.
Proxies are all right though?
Got to be better than the marshals I have at the minute
Budget no1 and seem to have decent reviews for such a cheap tyre.
Uniroyals we're my second choice but these were post the 200 mark for 4.
Khumbo's seem to get quite good reviews as wel for the price.
May have a look at some post worn continentals
Ya I think buying them and then getting them fitted is the best bet. I might see if I can get a price match and have a ring around explain this is what I can get them for can u match
I have a set of alloys at the powder coaters this week and so I require some rubber for when they come back. Now I've decided on Toyo proxies tr1 and for four I can get on fleabay 188 delivered. Now I've tried some local Tyre places and they want 274 for the same Tyre fitted! Surely it can't...
I believe there's a guide for engine removal which shows how to get the clutch out. There is another on the internet as well which sites how to do it. Literally you need to pop both drive shaft out move the engine across and the push the box the other way. You need to glue the clutch plates...
