The cambelt is a little more tricky, if its the D7F engine though its not that hard compaired to the other engines. There is a guide in the Haynes manual.

Not sure what you mean veeron, both the bulbs (high H7 and low HB3) just need 2 wires, the feed and an earth. The feeds being from the original wiring for the H4 light and the earth being from the original earth of the H4 light split into 2.

Its anti clockwise, they will be very tight you will need a long bar to try and wrench it off. When I did mine i got a friend to help, we both almost lifted the car off the stands to get it off. Remember when putting it back to to either replace the nut or use some thread lock.

Are all the standard renault backboxes for 98-06 clios the same, for example can i fit a backbox from a 2004 1.4 16v onto my 2000 1.2 8v. I know the dci and 172/182 are different.

You will probably be better off selling it and buying a 1.2 8v mk2ph1 and enjoying 47mpg. You can pick them up for as little as £1500 now.
