I've also noticed the MPG has been poor! I've been driving from Portsmouth to Middlesbrough and back the past 2 weekends. This won't have damaged/clogged up the engine!!
I noticed it was off, plugged it in and now my ESP light has extinguished on the dashboard! It has been constantly on since my last service a month ago!
The connection i'm talking about is the one with the green paint on the plastic connection. (NOT THE ONE WITH THE GREEN WIRE)
Well the oil pressure was up before but the exhaust and the emissions wasn't!!
TNH i'm not to bothered, its getting old and has a lot of miles, as long as it runs i'm happy, had it 6 years now and has done me good :D
After my service, the bloke said water must have gotten in somewhere. Wheel spinning all the time now, must learn to accelerate gently. The oil pressure light comes on and off. Its just had a intermediate service with all filters changed, oil changed and new spark plugs.
Weird.
Its in the Garage now, failed the MOT due to hand brake fooked, put it in for a service so hopefully it will be ok, i'm hoping it doesn't start so they can diagnose the problem with it.
I've been having a few problems with my 182 when starting first thing in the morning with it back firing a few times and nearly stalling when pressing the accelerator down, but once it warms up and full power is available to use its fine!! But today it just wouldn't start, I called the RAC out...
This comes on and off, usually goes off when I slow down from 40 - 30 weird!!
Also the car mis-fired a few times on Monday after a cold morning start, was juddering all over the place and stalled, took 4 attempts to restart it, its fine when warmed up!!
On Saturday Morning I started the car and it was as if my problem, that I had earlier on this year with a dead injector had come back!! I started the car, and the engine was rocking all over, I then drove the car about for 10 min but was still juddering and hardly any power! I could also smell...
I got into my car today a 54 plate with 107000 miles on the clock, 90% of them are motorway miles.
anway, started the car and it was juddering and the emisions light came on, reversed out of my drive, trying not to stall the car. Then drove along the road with my foot down and I was juddering...
Just tested. Its 20 outside.
With air con on. 9.5 humidity 63%
Air con and recirc on. 8.8 | 61.3%
Air con off. 23 | 74.7 %
So all seems well. This was taken when parked up.

I had a nother Quote for £300 to replace the discs and bearings as a whole unit!!
Went to Auto Enterprises which is a small local garage in Middlesbrough and they said a MAX of £240 if they can't replace just the bearing. If they can replace the bearing then it will be £65. So heres hoping Auto...
First Quote lol:
Afternoon the bearing is a complete hub assembly including the brake disc and is only supplied as a pair
I would also advise that you also change the rear pads
Aprox price for the job is £280.00
=========
Is that taking the piss? How much should this cost?
thats not good, hope you get it sorted mate, nothing worse than your car constantly breaking and draining your wallet!! A bearing can fail at any time, even new ones, did it come with a guarantee?
The wheel doesn't wobble when I raise it off the floor and wiggle it. But I can see greese on the outside, the first photo below is one of the front bearing which is clean!!
The second one is the greese on the rear one! I think this is the bearing, I know nothing about cars haha :). Anyway...
