It must be killing you inside @John Lindsay fitting those shiny parts to the rusty rear beam! My OCD wouldn't allow it you out on the 25th for the TS day?

The cill panels can be had for not a lot of cash. I recently had a full cill replaced and some parts of the inner cill on a project car. was £400 all in, that included the panel, fitting and painting.

Good progress but i wouldn't be too impressed with some of the welding if that was my fabricator.

Cup subframe is different to a Ph1 subframe i know that for sure. The mounting holes for the lower arms are located 5mm more outward on the cup subframe

Pretty sure if there is Ice on the track you wont be racing or doing a trackday, the number of times around a circuit where the quaiffe will spin the inside wheel is minimal. Although for purely racing a gripper is better but not without its issues

The quaiffe will spin a wheel if there is ZERO contact between wheel and ground (Lifting a wheel, over a kerb for example).

Those are the mods i think make the most difference rather than a diff. Especially around KH!

That is cheap for the insurance! I am more than that for my renewal with @Neil@greenlight and i don't have commuting and my policy is for limited mileage!

Car has brake cooling ducts. No idea what was causing the issue but I’ll try the SRF again as I still have 1 litte If I don’t get on with it I’ll change it out

Looking to get some opinions on brake fluid, car is a track/race car with little to no road use. Previously i used ATE super blue and never had any issues, once that was discontinued i changed to Castrol SRF. I had 2 occasions, during longer stints that the pedal went soft with the SRF so...

Never mind out of warranty, my mate when he received his letter for the recall spoke to the dealer and was offered £22.5k for his and that is with low miles and not even 2 years old.

I was referring to all the other bolts he ordered. Would seem sensible to order new lock nuts washers etc at the same time as the bolts as cromwel can supply those also

Do you have helper springs also? My rears are 8” long
