I got 5000k's after having 8000k's for a while. I didn't think they were to blue, in fact they looked quite good! However they were crap in terms of light ouput (maybe because the 8000k's were cheap eBay jobbies!)
4300k is factory.
Nice, just found them all on eBay and it'd work out at £99 so saved a tenner! Once I've spoken to Fred on Monday, I'll make sure that they're the right ones and order them and get them fitted next Saturday. I'll then post and let everyone know if it's sorted it. (Unless Fred says not to and...
Do you mean the actual lens that's inside the headlight, or the outer plastic that you can actually touch...?
If you mean the actual outer plastic then (depending on why your asking) I think it would be easier to get a new headlight...?
What wheel arch liner do you need, I have a front drivers side sat in my garage that I can't be bothered to fit... Would be a pain the arse to post it though!
I was thinking £180 to include parts (powerflex). It's just an estimate I haven't actually had a quote yet. I've just spoken to Fred @ BTM and I'm gonna try and get over to him next weekend for him to have another look. Seeing as this is the only thing he saw wrong I can't imagine it being...
I don't drive around using my fogs all the time, but when it gets foggy and I actually need to use them the thought of having nice crisp white coloured headlights, and crappy yellow fogs really pissed me off lol.
I got some 5000k Xenon D2S bulbs from HIDS4u (which are actually pretty good!) and...
Mate I've spend a stupid amount of money on this, so far I've changed;
Rear axle bushes
New key fob (£154!!!)
New rear shocks and springs
Dephaser Puller and full cam belt and aux belt kit
Track Rod ends and Steering Arms
New Washer Bottle
New front windshield
bonnet catch
both xenon balasts...
Hi all,
Car's been a little unsteady at the front for a while now, but nothing major really...
However, took the car to Fred the other day at BTM to have the track rods changed as one was seized, as usual he gave the car the once over and didn't really find anything wrong other than the...
Don't blame you. I get bored waiting around though. Lol
It's some massive meet they're organising for July. Think there is a post about it on the front page.
My mum has a 2005 campus and she's experiencing problems with the boot.
It opens and closes as normal, but it doesn't lock with the rest of the car. Is it just a case of getting a boot locking motor and switching it over?
Mines about the same, I got my oil changed to see if it would help and it didn't (although I don't know if they actually changed it as it was a 'cash in hand jobby') lol!!
Isn't 75w80 the correct oil or something?
Yeah I don't think there is really much you can do to be honest... I've seen that kit it looks good! I just can't be bothered with the work involved lol...
I've replaced engine mounts and powerflex dog bone. It didn't really help.
There's a gear linkage gaitor under the car which, on mine, is pretty Knackered. Gonna replace that see if it helps.

Aw ok :-(
Those £55 ones I got from hids4u are pretty good to be fair.
I've always thought the clios hids were crap when you compare them to other cars.

Mines started knocking Stu, I'm going to see Fred on Saturday about the track rod ends and steering arms. I think its all related.
I'll let you know what we replace to give you some ideas.
