Nick, what are you using for a gearbox/diff, driveshafts and clutch? I presume these are not standard? Otherwise they are very likely be short lived, even if you do elect to using wheelspin to regulate the torque. The output you are producing must be close on double the normal for that model...

Hey Big Bash ....remind me never to buy a motor from you!?:o
I see two main reasons for changing your oil regularly:
1) Peace of mind on track days due to abnormal sustained high revs / high engine stresses / rich fuelling as Mike has alraedy explained.
2) On the other hand, if youre like...

Yep Simon, I would agree. The braided hoses will give a slightly firmer middle pedal. The DOT 5 is less likely to boil under duress. Only problem is that it will require flushing more regulary compared to standard fluid to keep up the efficiency.
Firstly, check that you are not over driving the amp input causing distorsion, failing that secondly check the speaker in your sub box is not mechanically distorted, causing the voice coil to rub against the magnet. Try running the sub woofer speaker at the same low volume when it is removed...
But can you lay down 300+bhp through a mere few square inches of front rubber is the question? .....will be a lot of fun trying though ...he he! A 0-100 video in the wet could be very entertaining me thinks!;)
Have a look at the Cliosport article "Autocar (13th July 2000) " Why would you want to upgrade brakes that have a 100-0 mph spec at 3.99 secs?
If youre worried about brake fade why not fit cross-drilled / slotted vented disks on the front with the same diameter and with the standard pads.
I...
Ohhps thought I better remove the pictures since they are really copyright to ECP and K-Tec. If you look on their websites you can see the differences

What brand of bulbs are you using? e.g. In the past ive found the cheapo Ring/osram bulbs seem good value for money but dont last, especially with the jarring of harder suspension. I always use Phillips bulbs these days. I had Phillips VisionPlus H7/H1 bulbs in my last 1.6 16V dyna + for 4000...

Mike, Do you remember what the part no is for the Eibach -30mm (springs only kit), rough price and UK source? I looked on a few websites but not listed for the 2002 MKII 172. In the past Ive used Eibach springs and anti-rollbars on my MKII 16V Golf ...completely transformed an already good...
Hi R3OBC,
Think the alarms fitted to my old Clios were Cobra too. I have a couple o wee dugs (canine variety), so couldnt leave them in the car with ultrasonics armed. I vaguely remember having to switch the ignition on/off twice before shutting up and arming the system through the keyfob...
Hi Clioman,
Ive had that done on past clios 1999 1.6 RXE (CAT 2), 2000 1.6 16v (CAT 1)post delivery. Both had the alarm operating via the central locking fob. BTW when I received my 2002 172 there was a CAT 1 alarm certificate in the folder, certifying fitment of my CAT 1 alarm in Teeside UK...
