I like to call all these anoyances 'features'. Its the joy of owning something french. Allot of them can be solved though. Get someone to sit in the back and press on the parcel shelf, panel etc whilst the rattling is happening and hopefully you will find out its source.
Why do so many people say get the water pump done. Seems like another cliosport myth to me! Has anyone actually heard of one leaking on a Sport?
Also the aux belt is hard enough to change IMO. Unles you have done cambelts before I would steer clear.
I haven't owned both but I have driven both and the PH1 wins for me just because it has aircon, abs and IMO a nicer interior. If it was going to be just a weekend/track toy then I would get the cup and strip it bare.
I dont think theve used enough copper grease on that only looks like they have used 1 whole tub to me....!
I would be down there causing mayhem especially if its busy they should sort it.
PH1 for me. Performance is pretty much identical but it comes with a few mod cons such as aircon which i couldn't do without on a daily driver. I also think the PH1's are getting pretty rare now whereas I always see PH2's.
I got them from somebody breaking a 182. They attach in each corner of the boot the threads are already there for them. The other loops are already on the iso fix bar.
Apart from they are 5mm spacers. 10mm total per axle. Ive not gone for them anyway ive gone for the eibach pro ones 5mm on each hub.
All I want to know now is can I use 3 longer bolts on each wheel and keep the standard locking one?
Does the rack have movement in it then? You can check by seeing if the steering wheel moves quite allot before the actual wheels do.
Is it the same tester as they hardly ever pick up the same things unless its blindingly obvious.
