The wipers control function is controlled by the UCH and you can't touch it as its soldered to the board. Check for signs of water ingress as its a common failure
Mick
You have a "short to positive" mate which is a live wire on that circuit touching metal.
Firstly remove all the scuttle panel plastics and disconnect the multiplug to the wiper motor assembly. Here is where a DMM comes in handy as we use them to check for continuity but if you don't have one...
Yep, in that case then you have most likely killed the CanBus network but the good news is not permanently.
I'm pretty sure that the main electrical earth for data services runs via the climate control panel and by removing it you've killed the earth.
Do you have a decent digital multi-meter...
Okay, I'm going to take a stab in the dark here.... It used to have digital heater controls yes and you've now removed it (Since then, wipers playing silly buggers and a 4hz flashing LED)?
Mick
Yep I've just refreshed all four corners on mine with 195/45's but I still had to check with Danny's clio trivia.
If the car had 205's from factory though just bare in mind the electronics are configured for this size not 195's
Just remember that the 195 rubber will reduce your rolling radius and marginally effect your speedo reading by about 2%
It can be changed via CLIP if you're really bothered.
It may need a bloody good electrical check up to make sure the H02's, MAP, CTS, ATS are all doing there job correctly. Sometimes there's more to servicing than just changing oil and filters.

Jesus, honestly why would you bodge something like that? The light is most likely on because you've put seats in to the car with a different equipment level and the SRS ECM is seeing unconfigured hardware so is making you aware that the system is unable to work correctly.
In short it needs...
Clean IACV and Throttle Body - Done
Just make sure you don't lose the seal for the IACV and that it goes back in right other wise the engine will race due to a leak.
Mick
LoL, I love the Aussie banter - They can be harsh at times but as long as you try to fit in its all fun. Next time one gives you s**t just ask him if his sister has both her arms or if she lost one due to sleeping accent involving a bowie knife.
Clear side repeaters needed though ;)
Mick
Its a 172 Cup so be carefull... for some reason the genuine 172 Cup's suffer with throttle related age gremlins alot more than the FF variants. Was the live data actually checked and the values of Pedal Track '1 and Track '2 validated? There should be roughly no more than 8% difference between...
You will enjoy this job, its ace!
You need to remove the inlet manifold completely along with the fuel rail. Then, you need to unscrew the top covers then replace the seal before refitting in reverse. From memory the seal is a pain in the ass as its moulded and will only fit in one way but...
