Was it a Mk2 V6 you had how come you chnaged there quite different cars IMO I've never driven one just because I could never realistically own one so there was no point trying one.
I think that this topics gone a bit off as a certain ex forum member had started up a new account and got...
I've driven them all I think and my preference is to a cup packed 182 the trophy I find to hard suspenion wise. Evenever will have different wishes. i don't think the tropry has much feedback though comapred to other cars which is somehting which for me is more important that speed and ability.
There all the same cars Uk ones have etched glass, locking wheel nuts and have alarms as standard (there fitted when they come off the boats).
So long as its not from Portugul or somewhere like that then if you make Renault aware where it has come from they will give you the full 3 year warently.
My old Williams had an aftermarket oil breather thingie on it there only £10 or so from halfords just check the size you want there 2 availiable 10 mm and 14mm from memory.
The difference is down to the exhaust manifold and exhaust system being different not the intake manifold.
The intake manifold can be modified to allow for more power its about £160 to do.
ITG is an induction kit from a company called ITG.
Manifold work then exhaust decat and induction kit then a remap but there not much you'll gain realy.
Best removing weight from the car and making it stop and go round bends faster.
I think I know how he did it there 2 ways as I see it unless he's found another way as I don't know much about Nick I'd suspesct its a wiring not programming fix.
They did make some spare dampers for the trophys after people crahsed them and since the company didn't make any more they had to put some back into production.
There very very expensive not worth it IMo best off with Leda stuff or if you want even more track orientated Blistein stuff.

Its not a huge problem they cna be replaced but the question is whaere are the old one in the gearbox you ealy want them out.
Its is 3 years from the date fo first registration I should have made that clear ie you can have upto an extra 2 years of warently. The milage allowance is the same its 80k total.

My proof is the Renault manauls have details showing the wiring switches differences in there repair manual. Also the UCH computer (which is under the dash) has the option in it to control twin one switching its switches off unless you have the different looms and switches fitted as it doesn't...
Renaults extended warently.
This information is aviaible at your Renault dealership.
Its a full warently it covers you for everything that the standard 3 year/60k warently covers you for.
You won't fnd any other warently which covers for more engine mouns and shocks are covered even...
Just to clear this up as I don't understand what either of you are on about.
The 172 did in some countries get one touch on both sides some imports got it as they foreign build spec and some Uk cars (very rare) had it as its a mix up of looms. I've no idea why this happened the UCH does have...

Cracked springs I'd say easy to check jack the car up at the back undo the rear shock (one bolts) and check the springs. if they look ok swop them over and see if it leans the other way.
