    Just push start it if it starts its the starter moto if not then its likly to be something else.

    If you had 4 pots you woulnd't need to back off then would you. You should get a dci or 4 pots I didn't back off time I was past the bridge in my cars. Only twice though get back there your got a car with cruise only a few hours drive.

    The 1.4 were sold as having sports suspenion its no better realy my dci not supposed to have it but its similar to the 1.4 there no difference. Aftermarket stuff makes it look like a poor attempt.

    Yep unfortuntal. Good new fluid can somtimes fix it depends how bad it is.

    The trhopy did have the expensive dampers and is supposd to be better on track. However you cna find 182's on track quicker than the trophys in some cases.

    There all 2 liter then same engine realy the 182 and Trophy had the different manaifold ECU mapping and exhaust.     Sounds like they didn't chnage the tensioners or they've no lubricant in them as they havn't be installed correctly.

    Its all down to preference for example stock oil is fine for 99.9% of owners but some track users should spent the extra on Millers etc oils even if they are twice or more the price. Filters only the standard Renault I'd ever recomend for Renault themselves. Bumlbs well I use halford uprated...

    Sounds like the pad isn't sittig right you need to take the claiper off and check for anything wrong.

    I don't bother chnaging the filter chnage the oil though.The filter just removes the bits from the oil and holds a bit of oil.

    I wouldn't pay for anyone to fit shafts or shocks there easy to do. £145 for new drive shafts seems not to abd I'd definatly do it yourself.

    New CD changers from Renault are expensive £350 I think and the cable is £85. You ind them on discount evey now and again for £250 when they want to sell there stock. You can get them second hand for £60 or so. They work on the tape and CD units though.

    The old 172 engine used a better head for more flow the later cars used the same had as the turbo Megan etc engines use. Also more importantly is the proper throttle cable which is worth more even if the phase 2 had more power. GT_gaz I'll have to catch you some time kep seing you drive...

    Old school for me much better IMO. However if someone gave me the option of a new Williams or 197 with full warenties I'd take the 197 I'm sorry to say every time.

    About £2k based on list price of parts. Using very cheap parts and if you bodge the looms then maybe £1k assuming you don't pay for labout and it won't be easy.
