Won't fit the 172 Cup and cup packed 182 due to the wider track. Not sure on the normal Ph2 172 and 182, I think there were some suspension changes between the Ph1 and the Ph2.
If the timings jumped then bent valves ahoy! Get it timed up again and do a compression test, money says it'll be down on several if not all 4 pots. New head (if it hasn't damaged the pistons too much), valves (if your lucky) or engine time methinks.
If blowing the fuse then something is grounded somewhere. As said systematically eliminate as much you can.
You got a multimeter? Should be able to find the fault(s) with that.

You can get the foglight kit from renault to retro-fit front fogs to your car. Depends how much hacking with the wiring the previous owners has done.
The renault kits come with the dual fog stalk etc

Yeh I can't remember in detail (or at all really lol) but the config utility was the only way to configure them. And it looks to be a fruity fan, and I don't think theres an easy way to fool it into thinking theres a fan attached either as they work off a pulse system for speed sensing afaik.

Cheapest I found were GDI for the discs and ebc direct (google it) for the pads (they'll look normal price but you get a discount on checkout). Yozzasport are a bit dearer than most usually in my experience.
Two main options really, either run it in the passenger sill up into the dash and across as per the standard install will require you to take the dash top off. Or run it under the carpet against the inside and up into the centre console and into the dash.
Thats the options really, I went for 2...
