If it hasn't got a side airbag then not you can keep the original seat. Although sometimes the cost of a replacement pretensioner is more than a whole new seat...

Nope as there all electric whereas the RSs are hydraulic, and the cup was wider track. I think (could be wrong) you'll find it won't fit properly.

Yes that should happen, if you disconnect any of the coils and they do that then that ones fine. Its the one where it doesn't change thats your bad one. I've had a set of those coils for £40 of ebay when I had my 1.6 and couldn't fault them, are the exact same construction to the renault ones...

Err you'll probably find that the rack from the 55 plate won't fit as its got electric PAS and your cup has hydraulic power steering.

Best to use the renault type D coolant, is specced for the car and comes premixed afaik. I'd doubt its been changed tbh, and anyway if it has you should be fine I doubt its not got antifreeze in there.

The redesigned intake setup will account for any differences, all the D4F engines are MPI. Only the earlier D7Fs are SPI.

Acoustic valve comes out and yes it can be used no problem. Ph1 airbox with an ITG filter is probably the best induction setup tbh.

Your probably better of unplugging the connector from them instead of lifting them off the plugs, you don't have to have to take the bolts out then and they won't try to arc either.

Its more so to do with the oil coking up due to the heat in the turbo (bearings specifically) after you've given it a beasting. Thats why you don't rev it not why you leave it running.

You can go round the soundproofing easily enough. Lube the cable up with washing up liquid or vaseline, it'll go through a lot easier. 8awg should piss through.

Depends what your after really, the VTS is the faster car by far but they've got less toys and are far worse built. I've got a bit of a soft spot of for the VTS/GTi but I couldn't live with the poverty-specness.
