Was a very good day out. Pity everyone left so soon.
I think better communication between groups of cars would be good. split up into smaller groups of say 6 cars and have the head car as the group leader.
Still go as a convoy but when we come to roundabouts or traffic lights the little...
Glad to hear your ok mate
Thats the thing about clios, they may be small but they do their job right up to the end.
Think yourself lucky it was just into a field and not in to one of the big river like ditch's they have across the fens like we saw going to Skeggy... that would have been...
Thanks Fred, going to stick it to the local highways people in a big way

Anyone got any pics of gouged, split or damaged tyres?
Yeah I did see it but it was only 1 guy, I'm looking to build up a portfolio to prove that its not just driver error and an odd occurrence once in a blue moon.
There was a guy a few years back that hit a man hole cover and ripped his front suspension arm off destroying the engine at the same...
Hiya all,
Please can you post your pics of damaged tyres and alloys on this thread please. Need them as evidance in a local court case to prove that pot holes are the major contributing factor for damage sustained to cars.
many thanks
James

can you PM me the specs on the LED's so i can have a look see what i can get from work? I can get my hands on a lot of differnt coloured LED's so might go for a nice cool blue or a dark electric blue, but need the sizes to see what i can get.
was it a straight swap or did you add resistors too?
i'm going just to flogg the little bugger to death on a test run, just to confirm that it looks s**t, drives s**t, and is a total pile of s**t.
Renault have fucked up a good car just for the sake of 5* ! who cares if it has 5*? i don't, i care that it looks pants and drives like a washing...
take the ESP off-line, pulse the throttle (helps if you know the rough timing of the lights) then at time of launch bring the clutch up quite fast but in a smooth controlled manner. this will equate to a little wheele spin but a far quicker launch than trying it with the ESP on, i find for a...
Buy this one! its fantastic oil! gives really good MPG and it makes the car run smoother both from cold and from a hot restart, makes the world of differance! and its all down to Simon and Guy

i can assure you all i'm not a chav, and my 182 is a fine example of a stock 182 with minor perfromance mods here and there to iron out a few things that renault should have done when they designed it.
i'm not like the little t**t in the petrol station that tried to convince me his 1.2 with...
Hello readers,
I'm after a good quality front struct brace for my 182, one that doesn't require any drilling or cutting to get it fitted. A metal one would be preferable as i'd like to get it painted to match the car.
what type and where is the best place to get one?
Cheers
28 isnt bad for a chipped car and a hooligan behind the wheel! mine gets 32 on average, thats what the display indicates, if i take it long distance ie oxford to Norfolk then i get 48.5 28MPG is good dont worrie.
And the grinding, did the pedal go slack or a little limp? well that will be the...
Go to your local backstreet garage and buy a good quality replacment for £49.99 plus VAT might be cheaper if you take your old one in too, was for me. Bought a Heller replacment for the missus Fiesta and had it fitted in 1 hour for £58
Hay back off you lot, Cliolass asked for legitimate help, not to be ridiculed by you lot! that’s why this forum still sucks, may have changed its looks but the attitudes are still here... leopard and spots ring any bells?
Its her choice to do what she wants with her car, if you don't like it...
Thank you Swervin_Mervin for your support in this matter, you deserve a pat on the back, Paul_G you still dont get it do you.
I quote from your abouve post
"The majority of posters on here are extremely well informed and able to offer good advice for sensible problems"

LEARN TO READ!!!
You see if you had bothered to read the posts that have been added since this tread started then you would see that i have already used the search function and it produced no results that were of any value to me.
so once again i shall ask the questions, and if you don’t know...
yeah search doesnt bring up anything with any real info if set to search for 1 year and using the search words, Exalto, Mitchalin, Tyres, PE2, 182 Tyres, Cup Tyres
You see thats why i asked the question because i couldnt find out with the search function, you see im not a lasy arse like some...
we aim to please...
I asked the question because i wanted to know the answer, that is the point of a question, unless its a retorical one.... and if you know the answer to the question with out knowing the question then thats no good because you have just proved that you know only half what...
Right i thought i had the answer to this ages ago but now im not so sure...
My 182 came with the cup pack, and all my tyres had a red band through the tread and a red dot on the side wall, so far so good.
My set of tyres used for racing were the same, red dots and red stripes....
then i...
sorry i missed all of this, but whats a LAD conversion? whos it done by and why do they do it if its so sh*t? not that im gonna buy one, im going to keep my 182 till it falls apart (not long now) then go and buy something sensible... like the new MERC SL 55 AMG
im 22, i was 21 when i bought my 182, try Privilege insurance, they are very good for young drivers and hot little cars, they have always been the lowest for me and ive never had a problem. dont get a mk 1 172, treat yourself and buy a newer mk2 172 or the 182, or better still 0% finance a new...
lol, small world isnt it ;) why do you want to move back up to the fens for? its cold, windy and very wet for most of the year, the roads are sh*t and to top it all there isnt really much to do up there! lol
