As John says it's definately 5.5lts for the engine including the filter, not sure about the G/box but I have had mine changed.........I'll ask at Reno today!
Also, you can use any quality synthetic oil for the engine but I would stick to the TRP for the G/Box........I also use the ELF...
Hi guys.........my dad is taking the Vee down to Hull tomorow and then on to Birmingham on Saturday night ready for the re-map Sunday morning.
The question is where can he mount the Sat Nav so that it gets a signal and if he can't where is a good place to get an add on antenna?

The only thing I would say is that I did contact a number of suppliers including Powerbulbs but some were very slow in getting back to me, some didn't have what I was after and some just pushed what they had.

Was anyone at a meet that was organised that included the cars being mapped at Chipped UK.......I think it was in the last couple of weeks?
I'm thinking of going down to get the Vee a live re-map.

Well that's the order placed, just have to wait on them being delivered now.
I'll let you know what like when they are fitted although they have to be better than the standard lights in the Signum that's for sure.

Does anyone know if the fog lamps on thr Vee are a straight forward swap or are there any problems like with the Signum where you have to dismantle half the car.

As for the bulbs I have just had a look and I now know what they are, just incase anyone else has a similar idea they are H7 Main, HB3 dipped, 5W side and H1 for the fog lamps.

On a Vee the belt change is an engine out job.................the "kit" costs £390 or there abouts.............and Clarkie (Paul) I think he said he could do it for £650 including vat etc.............the thread is on here somewhere.

Give the registration number to any Reno dealer and they will be able to give you the history as far as they know ie from the spec when bought new through to each and every visit it has made to a Reno dealer.............so you should be able to get at least a partial history if not full eh :D...
Well Rory the qualification is like this...........if your car does not have a service history then you need to get it serviced, you can use any garage as long as its VAT registered, then you need to have it serviced as per manufacturers recomendations.
They will cover cars upto 8years old but...
