Is it possible to do this? i can buy a super loud truck horn but
a) is it too big?
b) what else would i need? a compresser?
ive searched google but no one seems to have posted it up on the net.
is there another way to make the puny horn of renault, louder? Hook it up to a 700watt amp?
i was so tempted to buy that blue clio with side exhausts. did it have scissor doors too? forgot.
best non clio car i saw: the 20inch inch rim orange saxo featured in redline mag
best clio: cant remember but it was black with black lexus led lights and an 18inch sub. located under a tent...
people over 28 should buy a proper pocket rocket, rather than a clio 172.
buy a 2004 megane 2litre or even an alfa gtv (pricey) or a fiesta st180.
im sure middle aged people can afford to splash out a tad more on a car that has a "normal" driving position and a lot more refinement.
on...
sony are only good at three things:
screens, laptops and portable audio
sony dont really make good car audio. Id expect them to be ace tho. Theyre top of the range headunits look sweet - but at an rrp of £600 it doesnt justify it.
The best all rounder is alpine. Theyre compatible with...
oh yeah? well beat this, renault west london (the big one) want £410 for a 36k mile service. the guy said "well that includes change of spark plugs, timing belt and oil filter"
noooo? really? change the oil filter too? thats kind of him
i got a kenwood 9027 too! for £210. but was skeptikle about spending £200 for 10gigs, when for the same money i could plug a 20 gig ipod.
i havent a keg or an ipod, have to make-do with CDrs, but they do the job.
kenwood make the sound system for the Mclaren F1 GTR! if thats the car built...
if u want to spend £260 on a brand new top of the range head unit, get a kenwood <A class=Extras href= "http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/stock01/kdcpsw9527.asp KDC-PSW9527
or JVCs top of the range model - cant remember model number - but its got 64K colour screen
if u want to spend over £400 u...
if your insurance is under £1200 I will have to kill you Im afraid! im 21 driving a 1.2 2002 authentique, NCB held lisence for 2 years and paying £1150 (endsleigh insurance - zurich). if i just wait a lil longer i could be driving a 182!
its like the bmw 5 series. It looks hidious! but the M5 looks great. And so will the v6 version of this clio/modus/stupid looking micra.
im sure its got lots of toys and gadgets inside as standard. Id be so embarressed to drive one of these. even the 192 version. for the love of god I hope...
i know the name cabbagekitten is a lil, erm. anyway. I signed up to a fourm and i couldnt think of any screen name. So it asked me to think of something i like and another thing i hate. kittens are cute and cabbages taste wrank(unless u smoke it). Blink 172 is a cool name! good think u dont...
it looks alot bigger! big as a focus almost, which means more rear space (for passengers, speakers, or the v6 - you decide) but its as ugly as sin! i mean... bmw 7 series type ugly. By far the ugliest renault ever made.
i intend to use a 2 channel amp for one sub woofer - which is boxed in the rear.
i plan to fix that amp to the back of the rear seats, or in the floor of the boot
then, if needed, i can somehow connect the two kenwood 5.25inch speakers to the amplifier. Remove the renault speakers from...
i drove round chiswick high road, couldnt find ace cafe, my eyes were tired so i gave up. Ill try tomorrow again.
i need help in fitting the cables, then i need help with fitting and connecting which cable where. Taking the seats out and the carpet is one thing, putting it all back is another...
£60 per hour? and here i am struggling at university like a sucker! jeez quit while im ahead and work at motorworld for a living :p
and the ironic thing is im studying automotive engineering design. Anyhoo, yeah i got the correct amp to go with the sub. i;d never turn up full tho - dont want...
im in west london, Ealing. all i have is a soldering iron with cheap nasty solder. Need to join the box (amp terminals) to the subwoofer. But i need a special kind of solder to get the best out of my speakers.
then i got about 3 screwdrivers (from playmobil ages 8+)
and some cellotape...
ive been offered £140 to fit:
12inch kenwood sub 1000w rms, sub box, kenwood amp, kenwood head unit (W9027), 2 kenwood speakers, and attaching the adaptor for the renault stalk controller.
£140 is a little much, but i know nothing about fitting ICE in a car. How should i go about fitting...
i get a squeak too when i press the accelerator at certain points. Also it squeaks when i turn the wheel slightly to the left. But the squeaks are coming from the left front wheel.
i told renault mechanics about this twice and they dont no what it is - pathetic.
do u know exactly wher ethe...
hi dave, 3 months ago if i saw your car for £4500, id pay u there and then in cash! especially if its black. Id reckon you can get £4850 if you sell it privatley. But the last time i checked 1.2 dynamique prices was in december. i dont think u should except anything under 4500.
i wouldnt recommend pushing the engine past 70 or 80mph ina brand new clio. It might void the warranty as it says in the manual. U have to cover 600 or 6000 miles or something before you rev past 4500rpm. 182 is a beautful car but remmber its only a 2litre i wouldnt start using the engine to...
hey the1, i have the same tthing on my car. Its totally normal. When at a standstill, if u press down a bit it wont light up, when u press down a slight touch more the brakes will light up.
But, curisin at 40mph it should light up as soon as u press it very slightly.
as for the courtesy...
