    For the ultimate performance end of the market tuning then the VAG route is the way to go but dont kid yourself its a cheaper option, its not. Its just a much better alternative in the long run and potential wise than turbo-ing the OE F4R lump

    If you can build the 172 system with a adjustable telescopic pipe end (cat to centre section) that should be the ph1 and ph2 172's catered for all in one go plus the 182 converted ones.

    If its connected your relying on the air provided through the CAF ONLY. When your in travel you dont get much heat soak anyway unless its in heavy traffic, warm day, or the cars been idling.

    Dunno. You can buy a Maxogen for 400 for how many BHP?? Cams gives you what, 15 bhp mapped for about a grand? 'Most' exhausts gives you just about nothing for upwards of 300. End of the day like Tesco's say, every little helps especially if this is to be one componant in a bigger picture ;)

    Clio's reliability strikes again!!

    Not sure of the proper name of it. Just say its CV grease for doing the CV boot, they'll know what it is as its the proper greese for this exact job.
