its oil pressure, oil temp and petrol. On a side note I test drove a new golf GTI DSG today and they fly. Try a test ride in one of them very recommended
The speedo has an electronic sensor that picks up from the front sprocket revolutions and dependant on gearing that speed is quite easy as de-restricted busa will do nearly 200. and some of the turbo kits are mental http://www.bigccracing.com/shop/product.asp?idproduct=295
I know someone with an S2k engine running around 260-270 with a pretty much stock engine apart from a custom remappable ECU from DTA, exhaust and air filter. http://www.dtafast.co.uk/ try these guys they have been very helpful from what my mate has said. He also changed to a 6 speed corvette...
I sold my 182 recently after only 1 years ownership, in that time it had 3 cats, 1 rear damper, 1 engine mount, 1 ECU bracket and it was only on an '04' I now own a Golf V5 which I must admit makes my bottom feel much safer and less susceptable to the royal rogering by the horrificly bad...
T1-rs are soft as toffee. I had a set pumped upto 36psi and still went over half way down on the side wall. They was shocking but they do grip alright. Good for a cheap tyre
I think that uprated rubber bushes would prob cause less stress than poly ones? Alternatively you could try building up a new suspension setup like above
Poly bushes are made from plastic so they wear out a lot quicker than rubber ones and are less forgiving. Best going for uprated / harder rubber ones. What car are you after them for? Normally if you buy the part from a sportier model they are higher spec. ie cup racer bushes for you clio or M3...
This is starting to make me feel a bit quesy.... I have been riding bikes for 7 years now and have been knocked off once by some yank who decided to go across two lanes of a roundabout to a motorway collecting my rear end on the way, Luckily I wasn't going fast so I walked away with minor...
The car is still running fine since I restarted it with no warnings, I just noticed that it was flashing whilst idling on my drive after cleaning it, jus though it best to check how fragile the coils are and whether they can go slowly or whether they jus die?
Hello All, I had the exhaust emission light flicker on my 182 last night whilst it was idling on the drive. I turned the car off then back on and the light went out. I took it to Renault this morning for a diagnostic and was told their was a misfire on cylinder 3 and could have been caused by...
Agree with the DS2500's once they are warm they are great for a standard brake set-up. Maybe a little too much at times for the poor Toyo T1R's I have with toffee sidewalls
The boot floors are welded in on a 182 as the shell is the same as a standard clio so they will prob cut the floor out and replace it. Its not as bad as it sounds as this is what they do at the factory when making the RS cars anyway. I have just had a similar experiance but the golf that sh*gged...
