Hmm... Well I found continuity from the signal wire from the temperature sensor to the back of the instrument dials, so what ECU is it going through? surely not the main engine ECU if Im getting continuity ?? I thought the circuit was like this... Neg Batt ----- ECU ---- sensor ---- clocks...

I have checked all the fuses near the passenger dash location, but not the ones within the engine bay. Strange though, because when I disconnect the sensor wiring from the sensor and apply 12 volts down the fan switch wire it turns on and off when 12 volts is removed. But the gauge signal wire...

Hi, Im having trouble locating the exact seat belt for my car. Its a 2002 renault clio 1.5 DCI dyanmique +. It has darker coloured belts than the normal models, and im not paying renault for a brand new one! I understand that only MK2 clio seat belts will fit, so I guess thats 1998...

my luck gets worse and worse. Managed to remove the locking key with a pair of pliers! Went to put on the spare wheel and it doesn't fit, the four mounting holes are offset to far. God dam!!! This is very bad luck! So now need to buy a spare wheel!! lee

Well day 3 of owning the dci and a nail has found its way into the front tyre, oh joy! Problem is the garage is shut and the car didn't come with the renault locking cap tool. Can anyone recommend anyway of getting these off? Its the 3 pin jobbie which stops the cover from being removed...

As in the title, Renault want 542.00 to replace the cambelt on the 1.5 DCI engine. That is bloody expensive, wheres my nearest back street garage? :) Are renault expensive for servicing then? As I think that is very over-priced. cheers lee

cheers for the advice. I just tried what you said and the gauge does move when running through the testing sequence, so i guess its a sensor fault. Also a t code was displayed but it was followed by ---- Now the next question can anyone point me in the direction of the temperature sender...

hi, no I don't have any lights lit to display an error. My old cars always used two sensors one for the ecu and one of the coolant display / dial. I was hoping it might be the same setup. It runs perfectly by the way, from starting and power delivery. cheers lee
