I've got a Clio 172, just took the stereo out and put it back in and now nothing will work and it won't start, all ignition lights come on and stereo powers up but that's it. Any ideas what it cud be? All fuses are ok on side of dash and in engine bay

right, we have recently fitted a replacement engine into my clio sport. when the engine is cold, the engine sounds sweet as a nut on tick over, as soon as the engine gets warm it sounds like a diesel??? if you rev it it sounds normal, just on tickover it sounds like a diesel! any ideas what this...

well as most know i bought her back recently as a cat c write off, got her back on the road to only be wrote off again by a volvo estate today :( so back through the insurance she goes :( this time it took the quarter panel out and smashed the window :(

i swapped my 172 a month or so ago and a bike went into the side of it the other day, the car is going to be an insurance write off and as im mates with the lad who had her off me im discussing with him about me buying the car back off his insurance company, im going to see the car tomorrow but...

this afternoon about 5pm?, i think it was a 182, i was in my phase 1 odyssey blue 172

my aux belt has snapped on my clio and one of the tensioners has seized, i need to order the part in the morning so my mechanic can fit it. does any body know the part number for the tensioner, its the 2nd tensioner from the top and its the only smooth one with no grooves in. cheers willow

put my clio 172 on a rolling road today and she made 191bhp at the flywheel :) he said she is running really well and was delivering good tourque right from 2thou revs :D:D:D

spotted you on offmore in kidderminster about 1.25 this afternoon had cliosport sticker in back window

went up clee hill the wkend and took some new photos (yes i am obsessed with taking photos of her haha)

picked the bonnet up yesterday and fitted it today after work and i love it :D looks alot better than the old aerosoled black one!! :D

when im driving and i put my foot on the clutch to say stop at a junction it revs real high but if i blip the throttle the revs drop to what they should be at? any ideas as it sounds like im a proper bad driver haha

hiya, im willow and im 23 from the west midlands. i swapped my fiesta rs turbo for a clio 172 yesterday. heres a picture of her :) (bonnet is black due to the laquer was peeling, im booking it in to be repainted asap)
