Noticed today that my fuel flap doesn't sit flush. Question is, should there be two rubber gromets or lugs that sit in the bit attached to the car? Wondered if mine had been pinched or fallen out? Anyone enlighten me? Would appreciate. ​

can' t advise how to get it out but definitely don' t leave it! You must get it out.

This must have been me. It was the fit bit that gave it away lol. seriously it was me though.

My 182 went in for its aux belt change at 36k and when i got it back it made a whine noise. I would describe it to sound a bit like a supercharger whistle type sound. This also disapears at higher revs. Very annoying. My car's just comming up for 5 years old and has done 53k so am gonna soon get...

I think that both are really important and go hand in hand to it being a good car. if it's in good condition at least you know that the owner/s hnave probably looked after the engine with servicing etc and the body work isn't going to fall apart with rust in a year of your ownership. That said...

I've got the supersport with the sports cat and it's very good. Everytime I take my car to a garage all the technicians say to me "wow, that's some exhaust". Great feeling. Not managed to take any pic of it yet though. Be warned it is loud.

Not read all the other posts on here but having read your post, it's sounds like a case of under steer.; Common on front wheel drive vehicles. You may have hit a patch of oily road or change in road surface. if this happens, always come off the power and it will correct itself ( hopefully) .
