Have to agree they are extremely good in the dry. In the wet they tend to spin a lot but still allow you to keep control of the car just like the old A510s. You should not disguard them just cos of the wet issue tho. The micellin ones on the 182s are very good in both dry and wet.
I brought mine direct from richbrook themselves www.richbrook.co.uk not sure if you can still do it as it re-directs me to speeding.co.uk.
Its 2 pound cheaper here anyway http://www.speeding.co.uk/acatalog/Car_Accessories_Richbrook_Anti_Theft__Aerial_65.htmlLink
A friend of mine has a RSI. Since a minor bump the airbag warning light and serv light come on intermitently. Is this to do with the connector under the seats for the pretensioners or could it be something to do with the sensor behind the bumper? Anyone got any ideas that may help.
Sounds like what happened to mine last year. Hopefully you wont have to wait 11 weeks like i did for Renault to work out which engine was in my car. Good Luck!
Yes Lee they are A539, and yes viceroy they are terrible in the wet. They spin loads in the wet but still remarkably still allow you to steer quite easy. Once you used to them they are ok. I used to have A510 on my old clio and they were better in the wet but not as good in dry. I would be...
I went out in Geoff liquid yellow 182 on tuesday night and i must say i was very impressed with those michelins in the wet. The seemed to have loads of grip, i thought it was down to the fact that he had traction control on but we tried again with it off and no real difference. Still would not...
Oh god youve gone an upset a Volvo owner now. He did not say ALL Volvos are big and underpowered did he! he said his dads was. And whats the point of comparing a said volvo to a clio 182 anyway, what ya getting at? They are hardly the same class of car now are they!
The question id like to...
I would have thought it would be quite easy to fit a cup sopiler on ya bumper. Its only plastic and bends quite easy if you make a few cuts, then just screw on and jobs a gooden!
Thats actually not a bad idea black kro. The thing im worried about is if the engine goes, im on my second already. If it goes there is no way i could afford to pay for a new one to be fitted.
Today i have found out that my warranty ran out a week ago on my car. I knew it was close but as i brought the car as an ex demonstrator and got no warranty paper work i did not know the exact date. I phoned up my local garage to be told it has already expired and now im driving round with no...
I need to badly get my arches rolled. Anybody know somewhere cheap and reliable near Bedfordshire. Have phones R-Tec up and they want £94+VAT, seems pretty expensive for such a simple job. What does everybody else think?
I was driving on a staight when it happened. I will see what happen when i put some more fuel in tonight. I did try restting the computer but didnt do any good. Ive got to see my dealer on saturday anyway. Just wondered if it was something simple.
