Now fixed and back on the road according to the police :o
That is not the R-sport ECU from Hill Power it is the Renault Group N ECU.
R-Sport ECU is done by Radbourne Racing for Renault and only available direct from them.
Main problems were with the power steering and the dealer employing monkeys.
Had 3 failures of the auto tensioner on the aux belt. 3 new belts and 2 pumps. Used to slip and make a hell of a noise when cold. Dealers had not got a clue. Paint was very poor with rust on the boot and rear bumper...
I was at Star city a few weeks ago with the RSC Lee.
Neil the seats only took an hour to fit myself and that includes the removal of the old seats
Think i fitted them in Cuppys clio in less than half an hour. Then another 10-15 minutes to modify the seat looms so the serv and airbag lights...
Not gutted mate.
Best thing that happened to that car.
Spent more time at the dealers than with me. Had it 6 months and the faults it had when i got it were still on it when it was smashed after many a trip to the dealers.
Think it is being put back on the road by somebody in wolverhampton.
George
When my Cup was written off it was 6 months old. I had the replacement car if it was less than 12 months old. They paid me out at £12,300 as that was the price they could get a new one for but the delivery time was over 3 months and i could not be without a car for that long so they...
Put a turbo on the Busa engine.
Mates westfield Buse Turbo is running 250bhp plus and 10.665 1/4 mile last time out sideways. Does get through a clutch or two a month.
I went from a clio Cup to a Octavia vRS. Best thing i ever did
Its slower off the mark but in gear its much quicker due to the turbo coming in at 2k.
Only costs £450 to get it up to 230bhp.
Standard 0-60 7.9 with 146 top end. Paid £13400 for mine...
I got a Skoda vRS in the end.

Getting the miles put on at the moment as it is booked in at Jabbasport for a chip and re-map on the 5th November. Will hopefully be pushing over 230bhp and close to 290bhp...
Im not bothered about loosing the Cup. It was a good car but a little to fragile for my type of driving.
I think my Cup loved the dealers as it always wanted to go back:cry:
On to bigger and better things know. There is nothing more pleasing than a stealth kill of my new car.
Head on with a Nissan Primera. Dumb c**t was overtaking stationary traffic to get down a junction on his right but i got there first.
Best thing for the car really. Was at Renault more than i had it.
The car is know at Cliospares in Wolverhampton i think.
I had mine lowered on Apex springs -40mm.
No rubbing even with the 17s
Couple of pics on here.

My Cup had the same problem with the steering feeling loose.
Mine was due to a problem with the PAS belt auto tensioner. They said it was loose and causing the belt to slip. Had it replaced and a new belt. Was fine for a while then the same again. Had my Cup for 6 months and it went in over 10...
Dont forget the Octavia vRS if you are looking at a Leon Cupra.
I looked at both and chose the vRS the sSeat cannot compete with the vRS interior. For £1500 Jabba sport can get it to 340bhp :o
Picked mine up on thursday. after having 6 new Renaults its good to finally get a car that does not...
I did look at the leon but the rate of finance and discount on the Skoda it works out nearly a grand cheaper.
Jabbasport do a remap for 450 quid and most return around 230bhp.
Trying to sort out some 20" wheels at the moment.
Cup has gone because it would cost over 10K to repair it.
I have ordered a Skoda Octavia vRS in black. Pick it up on September 1st.

Ordered my new car this mornings as my insurance have now paid out.
I have to say it is not a Clio or even a Renault. May pop in from time to time though.
Bye Bye;)
My insurance are trying to replace my cup with a new one and they are having no luck as well.
Should get paid out now, so i can get myself a Octavia VRS
I had a powerflow exhaust on my Cup.

Sounded ok until the car went to the salvage yard in the sky
Thats because Tesco are w**k.
My Cup is insured with Renault insurance (uk insurance same as tesco). They wrote the car off over 2 weeks ago and has been sold to a local salvage yard. The thing is i am still paying finance on that car and have had no car for 4 weeks now.
As with my car being...
Griff i did see your cup on sunday. I would of come in mine but its mashed so i could not. Does not go well with only 3 wheels. Was in my brothers silver Audi A2.
