Done a 4hour round trip and met Cliodan26 to pick up some 8x15 Rota Grid V's with ET0 offset, Nice car aswell Dan - 182 on TB's sounds so addictive!
Anyway spent the best part of today and abit of last night fitting them, Have had to grind the Calipers, Few brackets but they are on..
I need...
The day I bought the Clio...
I then de-badged the rear, LED bulbs all round and 3/4 plate..
Few shots whilst out and about..
I then purchased some Coilovers and a chrome front badge, By this time I had binned a K&N induction kit for a standard airbox and panel filter..
And...
I know there is a few boys on here running those, Hopfully picking some up on the weekend - Any trouble fitting them? All I can find is the obvious of Grinding down the rear calipers or spacing them out. What about spacing on front? Will they touch the front shock etc?
regards Tom
I think I found my ABS problem - Took rear wheels off and where some p**ck didnt put my rear disc on proply ( forget the spacer behinde disc ) The outside of my ABS ring has been rubbing against somthing, As its tooth like right angle one side and slanted the other!
Regards Tom
As title says really - Only had a quick look, Cars becoming a pain on my ass! Fuked engine mount bringing engine back? Obviously the D/S Driveshaft is 2piece, Its the side before it goes into the bracket in the middle of the shaft, Boot and joint seems to be rubbing against sump, Grease everywere!
Had no time atall lately, Borrowed my mates Snap-on Diagnostic thing for the ABS fault code and had number;
5:Power to solonoid valve or somthing along the lines..
6:One of the 4 wheel targets which I asssume is one of the ABS sensors
Going to try take the wheels off and have a look one...
Cut a long story short a mate owed me a favour and offered to do the rear disc and pads ( Discs we're complete with abs ring and bearing )
Noticed somthing wasnt right, Looked underneath and I can see that inside of the disc is rubbing as I can see shiny metal ( Were arrow is pointing at disc )...
As title says, When I give it some real boot from standstill or rolling Slowly I go to press the brake pedal and it will not press down! Its that hard I have had to yank the handbrake up and then the brake pedal free's up, Driving round normally tho brakes are fine but I feel the abs is kicking...
As title says, I can get a gates timing belt kit alot cheaper then Genuine Renault kit and comes with cam seals, Obviously fitting genuine Renault Aux kit and De-phaser..
What would you do?
As title says really - Just had the disc and pads done, Sounds like pad on disc but its litterly only when I turn in right, Turn in left it dosnt do it..
Im away and cant look at it, Any ideas?
Regards.
Key unlocks doors etc, As soon go to start it get the red stop light and red dot constantly flashing,
Changed key fob battery.
Jumppack on battery.
Took pos terminal off and sparked it with ign on to try reset.
Held the dash lock button until 2 beeps then press key fob and nuffin.
Lost for...
As title says really - Cambelt kit has been changed and aux belt - but almost sure the tensioner DIDNT get changed - From the old owner tho so unsure.
Cheers Tom
Inner boot is fubard! I no its a new D/S job, Whats the Gaurentee on a refurb replacment on Genuine renaut items or is it worth getting from Cliospares?
Would this also cause very unstable driving? Car seems to be all over the place and steps out goin over the slightest bump
Regards Tom
Symptons I have are..Dirtyish fluid in water tank, When I check the oil the level seems to be high, But quite thin..Like its been thinned down with water?
Performance wise there dosnt seem to be any issues, It dosnt overheat and there isnt alot of pressure if any in the expansion tank.
Cheers Tom

Got a bearing sort of rubbing noise which sounds like its coming from the n/s - Its like a wheering noise which is at the speed of the wheels, Its there throughout all the gears and speeds and is even there if you depress the clutch pedal.
Changed all the mounts inc alloy bracket under battery...
