silver mk2 shape, alloys, young boy driving.
when you sit in the outside lane at 60mph and you create a huge queue of traffic try and have the common sense to move over and let us all by ffs!!!
its strathclyde park, its the middle of the day and no one is around yes it is shocking but the thing is tottally different size and shape from the clio its hard :(
its done 129K and its a C200 2L Sport automatic.
only need the front wing replaced and painted estimate the work about £150 at the very most!
i'm thinking about them wheels the now actually, weird.
insurance is £600 and MPG i aint sure yet cos ive only had it a few hours and fogot to ask me...
my bro in law sold it to me so i got an amazing deal on it, im the third owner and the first owner who bought it paid £30,000 for it from new. My bro in law got it for £7,000 2 years ago and now ive got it for a very small sum of £1000...OH YEAH!
I love to drive it very comfortable drive...
just got a front one quoted today was 18 pounds sterling :)
but turns out i will be buying a rear one lol
yes a local garage sed they would do it for £15 ideal :)
where u located mate?
put on new thingy pin...easy.
and noise is reduced but i got a mate of mine to check the car and its the REAR PASSENGER SIDE wheel bearing!!! :O
i mean FFS!
ok ok here you go:
basic:
jack the car up
take wheel off
take strut off 1st
put on spring compressors
seperate struts
release compressors, take off springs.
Put spring compressors on new ones
put on strut
assemble strut again, put on car
put on wheel
lower jack
back ones are easy.
do it...
I can appreciate the work that was put in but I just don’t like the look of it, its too “max power” or “neddish” I think, if u didn’t spend all that money on it you could have got a bigger n better car.
i get it constantly and more when i turn left it disappears when i turn right.
i think this is due to the bar vibrating off the subframe and its within milimeters when turned left and its a fair bit away from the subframe when turned right.
but ill replace the anti roll bar bushes today...
it isnt the bearing ive checked both side for that. im pretty sure of it.
ill run by coatbridge renault dealer and grab the bolt n bits tomorrow after work, fit it and if the noise is still there ill get me mechanic to check the bearings.
Paul
i beleive i have lost a pin or a nut n bolt from my anit roll bar.
i need someone to confirm that what i am talking about is in fact my anti roll bar?
some (bad) pictures below:
anyone know where i can get whatever is missing?
worst finance deal EVER! and then crashed it so had to get a aloan to help me out. now will always save up n pay cash. finance and loans suck donkey baws!
IVE HAD THAT BEFORE AND IT WAS THAT MY WHEEL BEARING HAD COLLAPSED. IF YOU LEAVE IT FOR TOO LONG IT'LL DAMGE YOU HUB THEN YOUR SUBFRAME.
SO GET IT FIXED BUD SOON AS.
