brakes

Have bought some new rear brake disks, went to fit them today, removed the old one, tried the new one on for size and it fitted fine, so took it off to grease it up and now it wont go back on............ anyone got any ideas as i totally stuck!

just a couple of quick questions if some of the knowledgable dont mind helping out please. will a set of decent coilovers from a 172 cup fit onto my 182 with cup packs, or do they have totally different mounting points, poundage springs etc etc? also, brakes. recently fitted Goodridge...

When braking i occasionally hear a slight 'twang' noise as if the cable is catching and/or vibrating. I can also feel it vibrate and grind a little through the brake peddle. Hi, I guess a lot of you guys will have upgraded the brakes on your cars. The 182 has been into Renault and the brakes are knackered. Quoted £500 for new discs and pads. So I'm thinking that a decent set of upgraded brakes could be bought for a similar amount. Any recommendations? Any advice...

As Title really what size pot of hammerite paint did you use to paint your brakes? Going to be buying it tomorrow and i dont want to buy too big a pot only to throw away a load of it, so what size ml pot did you use?
