Please take it to a renault garage for a service once it's up and running and take a secret camera with you. I wonder how long it will take them before they come back and say "Sir, your engine is in the wrong place and appears to be fitted with a turbocharger"

PMSL at that idea, especially when they've been known to make that very same mistake on a Vee...

I think this is ace, and very much in the spirit of the original R5 turbo (RWD not GT turbo) and basically any other performance special that was created by the passion of a few (or less) and not a corparate focus group.

Even if the engine was standard you would still get a car with more track potential due to the altered dynamics; much as the art of performence fwd has improved all other things being equal, rwd nearly always has a performance advantage.

last evening started reading this thread front to back, ended up past my bedtime , first thing in the morning logged in again to see if i missed anything....

can wait to order pipes and fit them!
i might put the rad in the rear to start width just to get it running a week or three early!.
i should have pics up wed of the chosen exhaust route
gonna have to make a better silencer too!

i could have the engine started by noe but somebody threw the fuel pump out! going to get a different one anyway.

just sourced a 30L alloy fuel tank and pump!

just wiring and plubing now!
+others!
water injection etc

Thats because its a Celica or MR2 engine, and not in a Clio either. Looks like another Toyota.
