Iv managed to remove door cards
it the process of saving for my dash
(race logic)
with carbon backing.

The cars going down to k-Tec in a few weeks to be finished of
at last .

well looks like it might b on the road in around 3months.

im building a new dash ready for it at home.
using original dash but carbon backing where clocks/speedo were!
then mounting race technology dash2 onto that.
also push button start on the right of the steering wheel where normaly the dash brightness is .

will keep posted.

right i have these new carbon door cards that im going to fit once i get the car back.
and i want to keep elec windows.

any ideas where i should mount the switches?
plus on drivers side i want to keep mirror adj switches!

its gone to k-tec to be finished off as im too busy to finish it.

they are re doing the rear geometry as i messed it up-FAIL

then they are sorting the rear brakes as i also messed that up

then im having the car back to finish a few bits while the new aux belt
and brackets are fitted.

then after all that is done k-tec will have the car back to put the engine back in and start mapping the Omex 600.

its just a bit of sample carbon fibre with some cut outs of the race tech dash and spa dials.

cant wait to get the rest of the dash back together in the car.

this year is only half way through - stay positive mate your doing something that has never been done before, and not only thats your taking on a huge project, its bound to take time (almost 2 years I grant you, but still) itll be worth it when its over

Ktec got it now - they'll fix it up whipper snapper

Yeah at k-Tec/Gdi have it now.
Can't wait to see it all working again.

Jump in turn key then hit that push button start!
And then it just pops into life with that deep burble that I was used to .

Will sound even better with that really short route exhaust!
