16V Manifold & Wheel Spacers Question

Hi there! 2 Questions for you folks>>

Firstly, I recently got 16" Prima Willy replicas on my 16V to replace the shabby phase1s but the trouble is that i still think that the wheel dont come out far enough. Does/has anyone fitted spacers to their car and whats the benifits dangers of doing so (apparently the willy has wider front track so must be better)??

Second question ive got is what difference will a full stainless manifold make (k-tec claim about 10bhp) to my considering the mods i got (decatted zorst, cams, chip, PBV and K&N)? Worth the money?

Thanks

The willy uses R19 front arms and driveshafts to get the added track. If you use spacers alone youll get the track but completely different scrub radius and SAI offset.....which will make the car handle totally diff to a willy.

Also using spacers, espcially universal ones that dont support the wheel, are a bad idea.

Manifold, i only know one person using that same one and he says its pretty good, but i have no eperience with it personally.

how far you planning to move them out, a few mm is ok, but if your looking for 10+ i wouldnt bother.

bearing loads and faster safety....
