can sum1 help meeeeee...........

i am trying to find out if the fr + rr bumpers off a 172 will fit onto a 03 1.2 billabong ??????

i have heard the 172 front wing has widder arches ....... there for the 172 bumper is not meant to align properly with the 1.2 arch/wing ?????

is that true ?....and as for the rear bumper, will this fit straight on alignin perfect ????

To fit the front bumper from a 172 onto a 1.2 you will also need to fit the front wings and the sideskirts. also the arch liners are different. the back bumper will fit straight on but again the arch liners are different. See pics of Pretenders car in the pic galllery under other clios.

hmmm, alot of work it seems...........

but Pretenders car does look mint, i really want them bumpers........its the closest ill get to a 172 for another 6yrs until im 25 !

dont mean to b cheecky but does any1 know how much it cost Pretender to have the wings changed and bumpers etc put on ?>?>?>?>?

suppose i shall have to keep looking in the scrap yards !

cheers

will cost about a grand to do it ! thats without it being painted ! thats if you buy new renault parts that is ! Im sure if you got these parts from a scrappy it wouldnt be that expensive ! unfortunatly all of those above parts are needed ! eg front wings, arch liners, skirts and not just the bumpers as the whole kit needs to match up ! Good luck anyway and get in touch with pretender !

Black Fox is Dans dad! I presume he got cheapo prices from him..bearing in mind adding the painting and prep works out as a tidy sum!

The painting and fitting up of the front end on Pretenders car cost about £800. This may seem a bit dear but it was done at DAWSONS in Dorset and at the end of the day if you want a top job done you have to pay. The price of the wings etc. was on top of this. :D
